While you can improve skin texture with proper care, acne scars and freckles don't just disappear, and foundation alone has its limits in covering them. I wanted to find an affordable concealer with good reviews, and that's how I chose this one. I usually apply concealer on bare skin before foundation. Though it's slightly lighter than my natural skin tone, it's similar to my foundation shade, so adding a layer of foundation over it seems to provide even better coverage. It has a dry feel, so when covering dark circles, it tends to settle into under-eye wrinkles. Although it's called 'Sand', which usually indicates a shade 23, this one seems closer to a 21-22 shade. It's a bit too pale. I find it works best when you dot a small amount on the areas you want to cover, let it set for a moment, and then blend the edges. - ji*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 31, 2024
I bought this for my dark circles, and I love that it's not drying at all. There's nothing bad to say. If anything, the only 'issue' is that my skin got tanned as summer approached, making the shade appear lighter... - bl*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedMay 15, 2024
The coverage for blemishes, dark spots, and troubled areas was surprisingly decent It was brighter than expected, making me wonder if I had chosen the right shade - ln*****Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsApr 21, 2024
I can't really think of any specific advantages. I did manage to use up the entire bottle, but I'm hesitant to buy it again... It leaks terribly. While using it, I had to constantly clean my vanity because it kept spilling. Not recommended for those who are particular about cleanliness. - 01************Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 2, 2024
I snagged this for just 3000 won at 50% off from Olive Young. When you consider that The Saem concealer at Daiso costs the same, this is an incredible value for money. The coverage isn't great... It might only be useful for hiding dark circles. Also, it's so yellow that it's probably only suitable for those with very warm undertones. The swatch on the back of my hand compares this concealer with shade 21 from the same line. - oh**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsFeb 29, 2024
Great value for money! It's affordable, so it's perfect for those looking for budget-friendly options. It applies a bit thick and doesn't seem to provide good coverage. After some time, it tends to separate on the skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedFeb 28, 2024
The color is just right and exactly what I had in mind. It's a bit disappointing that it tends to lift when wearing a face mask. - kn******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 11, 2024
The coverage is great. The color is beautiful. I got shade 23, which is just a tad lighter, but I actually prefer it that way. It seems to apply a bit thick. The setting time isn't particularly quick. - ir*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinDark CirclesRednessFeb 7, 2024
I've become quite picky about concealers, so this one didn't really impress me. Even with a good base, it's too dry to effectively cover dark circles. When I see my friend using it at school, her under-eye area looks so parched that I want to slather some emulsion on it. It's okay for other parts of the face though. It's fine for the rest of the face, but I wouldn't recommend it for under the eyes. After a while, it starts to look cakey, making you want to desperately moisturize the area. - ki********Normal SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedFeb 6, 2024
The quality is truly excellent, and the value for money is so good that I bought three and stocked up. It's rare to find such great quality at this price point. I have spots and dark patches on my face, but when I cover them with the Peripera concealer and pat powder over it, they're hidden remarkably well. The texture is slightly runny. As expected from a Peripera product, it offers both great value and quality. Although it's supposed to be the darkest shade, it's a bit light for me, and I'm over shade 23. However, when mixed with foundation, it should work fine without major color issues. Usually, to cover dark circles, I first apply a salmon-colored concealer specifically for dark circles. Then, I layer the Peripera concealer on top and pat translucent powder over it. This method seems to conceal dark circles really well. For covering other blemishes or spots on the face, applying concealer first, patting it with a puff, and then setting with translucent powder works much better. I only recently learned this technique myself.
