I appreciated its overall decent performance, but the issue was that depending on my skin condition, it sometimes caused severe redness and a burning sensation. The price seems a bit high for the amount you get. It has an alcohol-like scent, and the quantity is quite small. I probably won't repurchase it. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinDec 1, 2021
I feel like my skin has improved a bit since I started using this cica toner. My skin wasn't particularly bad to begin with, but I sense it's gotten even better with continued use. There's a faint scent, somewhat like mild lavender? There's also a slight alcohol smell, but it's not noticeable unless you're actively sniffing the product. When my skin is irritated, I soak a thin cotton pad with this toner and leave it on my face for 5-10 minutes. It helps reduce skin temperature and feels really soothing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 18, 2020
It's fairly decent and unremarkable. Might be good to use when you feel blemishes are about to appear. In my opinion, there's a very slight, almost imperceptible scent reminiscent of industrial products or rubber. It's not unbearable though. Of course, I do appreciate that it doesn't contain added fragrances. - Hwahae UserOily SkinApr 13, 2020
The Hwahae Testers Review: Skin Type: Oily, combination dehydrated skin. Recently, I've been worried about small blemishes appearing on my forehead. Texture: It's transparent and feels like water when applying, but once it's on, it's more like a... concentrated serum? Rather than just moisturizing, it has this unique bouncy texture that's quite fascinating. Blemishes: While it's very gentle and doesn't irritate my skin, it doesn't seem to have a dramatic effect on acne. Of course, this could be because I haven't been using it for long. Still, I felt my skin calming down a few minutes after application. The small blemishes have noticeably reduced too! Effects: The most significant impact was on my skin texture! After using it a few times, my skin became so supple and smooth. I loved that this effect lasted not just during application but even afterwards. Scent: Many reviews say it's fragrance-free, but I noticed a scent as soon as I received it. It's not like an emulsion smell, more like... lemon... alcohol? It's not strong, and I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances, so it was fine for me. But those with sensitive skin should take note! Volume/Packaging: As you can see in the photo, the volume is small compared to the price. But if the product is good, the small size doesn't matter, right? The bottle is shorter and chubbier than most toners, which I found cute at first. However, it does make it seem even smaller. The opening is a bit unusual. It's slightly concave with a hole in the middle. This is my first time using this type of container, and I keep spilling it when dispensing (though this might just be my problem). Hydration: Compared to my previous product, I felt a slight deep dryness. As mentioned earlier, it seems to have more of a firming effect than a moisturizing one. It absorbs very quickly, which could be either an advantage or disadvantage depending on your skin type. Those with dry skin should especially keep this in mind. The bottle comes with a cover or stopper that can be inserted into the hole. I keep it and use it after each use! Recommended if you want to use it hygienically! For those who apply with hands like me, instead of using a cotton pad, here's a tip! After gently patting to add hydration, try smoothing it along your skin texture. As mentioned above, you'll be able to feel your skin texture improving!
