Unlike the original, it has a transparent formula.
ConsThe scent is really off-putting. It's not cocoa-like at all, but rather an artificial, sour smell that I dislike anew every time I apply it. Also, it's frustrating that the outer foil keeps peeling off and sticking to my hands. Overall, it gives the impression of getting what you pay for with its low price.
TipThe original version is much better.

It's perfect for whipping out and using anywhere without a second thought. The color isn't too flashy, and its compact size adds to that convenience. It's about as big as my index finger, so the portability is top-notch. You can toss it into a mini bag or pouch without worry. For a lip balm, I'd say the size is just right. The hydration is absolutely stellar! I used to rely on Vaseline and constantly peel off dead skin cells, but since using this, I've said goodbye to Vaseline. Plus, I don't get flaky lips anymore, so no need for exfoliation. A little goes a long way in keeping my lips moisturized. It's not sticky at all. The texture is smooth and silky. At under $5, even students can afford it without breaking the bank. Considering the incredible hydration for the price, I'm definitely repurchasing once I finish this tube. It's truly... amazing for lip care. I've completely switched from Vaseline to this. The tube packaging allows for hygienic application. I prefer tube formats to avoid contamination issues, so this was a plus! Just squeeze out a small amount and spread it on your lips. It's colorless! This is its biggest selling point. I really dislike tinted lip balms, but this one focuses solely on hydration without any artificial color... Two thumbs up!
ConsThe scent is off-putting. It smells like some kind of chemical or medicinal product. It's not sweet at all and really unpleasant... However, if you're not bothered by fragrance and just want powerful hydration, you might still want to give it a try. I suspect the scent will be quite divisive. It contains potential allergens. So make sure to check the ingredients list carefully before purchasing! The surface of the lip balm gets scraped off easily, even with the slightest touch. This causes glitter-like particles to get all over your fingers, face, lips, and even fall on the floor... If it weren't for this issue, it would be a five-star product. What a shame.
TipWhen applying tint or lipstick, having flaky lips can make application uneven and unattractive, right? After cleansing and applying your emulsion, generously apply this lip balm to your lips. Wait a bit, and when it's time to get ready, gently wipe your lips with a cotton swab before applying your tint or lipstick. This way, the color goes on smooth, hydrated lips without any flakiness. For those who struggle with cracked corners of the mouth in winter or dryness around the lips, try this: Before bed, apply a thick layer of this balm to your lips and around the mouth area. When you wake up the next morning, you'll find your lip corners aren't cracked anymore. It's the perfect product for this dry weather!

It quickly tackles dryness on the lips!
ConsThe coconut scent fades quickly, revealing a silicone-like... chemical fragrance that's characteristic of Himalaya lip balms

It's decent and provides moderate hydration.
ConsWhen I first bought it and smelled it, it just had a cocoa scent. But when I actually used it, there was this oily smell... The first thing that came to mind was petroleum, or maybe rubber - anyway, it has a strong, unpleasant odor. If it accidentally touches your tongue, the taste is awful... After using this, the area around my lips turned red, possibly from an allergic reaction, looking like eczema, and white patches like ringworm appeared.

I love that it stays put. Plus, the scent is genuinely sweet and delightful!
ConsOccasionally it gets into my mouth, and despite its pleasant scent, the taste is artificial and unpleasant. Be extra careful not to let it touch your lips!

ConsWhile it does have a cocoa scent, it smells rather artificial.
TipFor best results, apply generously to your lips after brushing your teeth before bed. The next morning, after brushing your teeth again, gently massage your lips with lukewarm water. This helps remove any dead skin cells.

The ingredients were better than those in regular Himalaya lip balms.
ConsThe scent is not great. I usually don't pay much attention to fragrances, but this one had a rather artificial smell.

It's just as good for lip care as the original version.
ConsHowever, the scent is overwhelmingly strong... I love Nivea Cocoa Butter and always keep a few on hand, but the fragrance of this one is really off-putting. There's a constant powdery smell on my lips, almost like some kind of dough? It makes me hesitant to use it. Also, this is only my second time using a lip balm like this after trying the original, but the container seems to break easily. At first, I thought maybe I wasn't being careful enough, but why does the container develop gaps and start to fall apart? It's happening again now! I didn't use it roughly and only kept it on my vanity, applying it gently each time. The container doesn't break right after opening, but when you've used about 1/3, cracks start to appear, and by the time you've used half, the whole thing just falls apart. Considering the inconvenience of the packaging and especially the strong fragrance, I don't think it's worth using, and I can't really recommend it.

Cons- Much less hydrating and more drying compared to the Himalaya original I loved how moisturizing the Himalaya original was, so I tried this new scent, but it's absolutely terrible. I've stopped using it completely. - Has an artificial fragrance...

Even if your lips are cracked, hardened, with peeling dead skin cells and bleeding, just slather this on generously, cover with something like plastic wrap before bed, and voila... you wake up with baby-soft lips. It's truly amazing how it instantly melts away dead skin cells. I really love it! Plus, they often have buy-one-get-one-free deals, which makes it even better!
ConsThe scent is really unpleasant... Honestly, I only use it because it's so excellent at removing dead skin cells and providing hydration. If it were just an average lip care product, I wouldn't use it due to the smell. It has an artificial, clay-like scent. I won't be repurchasing this. However, I am interested in trying the Himalaya original version!
TipApply a generous amount to your lips before bed and cover with plastic wrap. It works far better than most lip masks. It's the best...
