Unlike the original, it has a transparent formula.
ConsThe scent is really off-putting. It's not cocoa-like at all, but rather an artificial, sour smell that I dislike anew every time I apply it. Also, it's frustrating that the outer foil keeps peeling off and sticking to my hands. Overall, it gives the impression of getting what you pay for with its low price.
TipThe original version is much better.

It's decent and provides moderate hydration.
ConsWhen I first bought it and smelled it, it just had a cocoa scent. But when I actually used it, there was this oily smell... The first thing that came to mind was petroleum, or maybe rubber - anyway, it has a strong, unpleasant odor. If it accidentally touches your tongue, the taste is awful... After using this, the area around my lips turned red, possibly from an allergic reaction, looking like eczema, and white patches like ringworm appeared.

I love that it stays put. Plus, the scent is genuinely sweet and delightful!
ConsOccasionally it gets into my mouth, and despite its pleasant scent, the taste is artificial and unpleasant. Be extra careful not to let it touch your lips!

It's so hydrating that it's great to apply before bed. It's also excellent for times when your skin feels extra dry or during winter months.
ConsThe scent might be quite polarizing. Personally, I'm not a fan of the fragrance.

The hydration is not bad either.
ConsThe smell is... really unpleasant. It's just too much... When I apply this, it makes me feel queasy.

ConsWhile it does have a cocoa scent, it smells rather artificial.
TipFor best results, apply generously to your lips after brushing your teeth before bed. The next morning, after brushing your teeth again, gently massage your lips with lukewarm water. This helps remove any dead skin cells.

The hydration is excellent and the ingredients are top-notch. I used to avoid squeeze tubes because they were inconvenient, but after getting a cold sore, I switched from the stick version. The stick irritated my lips and caused flare-ups, so I went back to the tube. It's great for moisturizing elbows and heels, and even works well on cuticles. Just be careful not to apply too much, as it can feel a bit rich - you need to find the right balance.
ConsThe scent is noticeable and might be polarizing. Personally, I'm not a fan. The biggest drawback is the outer coating of the tube peeling off. It starts out fine, but at some point, the coating starts to come off and even gets on the opening. It's a hassle to clean, so I ended up wrapping the whole tube in tape when I first got it. I wish they'd improve this by printing directly on the tube instead. If they fixed that, it would be a holy grail product for sure.

There aren't any. What should I write? The worst lip balm ever.
ConsAbsolutely NOT recommended for people who frequently pick at their lips... I switched from Vaseline to this because applying with fingers seemed a bit unhygienic, but even if I have to use a cotton swab, I'm sticking with Vaseline from now on. It actually makes dead skin cells super noticeable. The moment you apply it and rub your lips together, the flakes immediately appear. Because of this, I ended up picking at my lips more, making their condition even worse. The smell was so nauseating at first that I felt like throwing up. I might have gotten used to it now, but it's still really hard to use frequently. If you're sensitive to odors, absolutely do not buy this. The ingredients aren't great either. You can't even feel any hydration. There are so many drawbacks that even the taste is off... When your lips are in terrible condition from picking, applying this doesn't soothe them - it feels irritating. There's a throbbing, burning sensation, and your lips feel tight... Vaseline usually calms everything down instantly, but this? What's going on? I know I shouldn't pick at my lips, but this is the worst lip balm I've ever tried in many ways. I wonder if it's just me, because the ratings are surprisingly high... It's baffling. I'm writing this review out of frustration after trying to use it again when I ran out of Vaseline. Oh, how I wish I could give it zero stars.

The ingredients were better than those in regular Himalaya lip balms.
ConsThe scent is not great. I usually don't pay much attention to fragrances, but this one had a rather artificial smell.

It's just as good for lip care as the original version.
ConsHowever, the scent is overwhelmingly strong... I love Nivea Cocoa Butter and always keep a few on hand, but the fragrance of this one is really off-putting. There's a constant powdery smell on my lips, almost like some kind of dough? It makes me hesitant to use it. Also, this is only my second time using a lip balm like this after trying the original, but the container seems to break easily. At first, I thought maybe I wasn't being careful enough, but why does the container develop gaps and start to fall apart? It's happening again now! I didn't use it roughly and only kept it on my vanity, applying it gently each time. The container doesn't break right after opening, but when you've used about 1/3, cracks start to appear, and by the time you've used half, the whole thing just falls apart. Considering the inconvenience of the packaging and especially the strong fragrance, I don't think it's worth using, and I can't really recommend it.
