During seasonal changes, skin gets itchy and sensitive areas like eyelids swell and flake without allergy medication) - Doesn't tolerate most oils well (some are okay, but rarely) - Acne-prone (always get a big pimple before and after menstruation, and have constant small bumps since wearing masks) - Large pores - Overall problematic skin Additional issues: - Oily skin with thin double eyelids, so eye makeup tends to smudge - Ingredients that clog pores cause itching and tingling Product review: - Initially planned to buy MAC Liquid Eyeliner, known for its long-lasting formula - However, the brush was uncomfortable to use, and even the manager didn't recommend it - Bought this product instead (with my own money!) as I only needed to draw a slight wing - MAC Powder Kiss Eyeshadows have excellent color payoff, minimal excess, and less smudging - The dark brown shade 'Give a Glam' works well as an eyeliner too - The texture is soft with ultra-fine particles, making it pleasant to use - Good color payoff with small amount, and blends naturally with a blending brush for a soft, smudged look
Cons- The color is quite intense, so it's more suitable as an eyeliner or for smudging out eyeliner. It might be a bit strong for everyday eyeshadow use. - Since it's marketed as an eyeshadow rather than an eyeliner, it's not completely smudge-proof. It's somewhat vulnerable to scratching, moisture, and sweat, so be careful. When it does smudge, it fades to a very light tint rather than leaving dark, messy marks.
Tip- Use a flat, thin brush like MAC 212. Lightly pick up product on the tip and press it gently at the outer corner of your eye to create a wing easily. - The swatch in the photo shows a smudged application, but if you apply it with more pressure like you would with an eyeliner, you can achieve the same intense color as shown on the product.
