On good skin days, you can skip foundation and just use this. It's moisturizing without being sticky.
ConsIf you don't control the amount well, it might look a bit greasy, but it becomes more natural if you keep working it into the skin.

When I apply this and then layer on my base, my skin looks absolutely beautiful. It sets faster than other products and absorbs well too. It's a mineral sunscreen, so there's a bit of a white cast, but I find it actually helps even out my skin tone, so I'm using it without any issues.
ConsDespite being slightly rich, I find it a bit suffocating on my dry skin. If I don't cleanse properly afterwards, I end up with blemishes right away. Those with super sensitive skin should be careful. Also, if you dislike white cast, you might want to skip this one. The fragrance is quite artificial and can be overwhelming if you're sensitive to scents, so I wouldn't recommend it for those who are particular about fragrances.

I really like it!
ConsYou have to shake it well before use... It's too oily and difficult to apply.

I stumbled upon this product and I'm now on my second bottle! The thing I'm most thrilled about is that it doesn't cause any blemishes, which is a huge win for my acne-prone skin.
ConsWhile it doesn't trigger any breakouts, there is a white cast and it feels richer than I expected. It takes a while to absorb, so you need to spend some time spreading it out. It might feel a bit heavy during the summer months.
TipI think if you take the time to massage it in thoroughly, it should absorb well.

The texture is somewhat like drinkable yogurt. It seems to slightly even out the skin tone when applied. While it didn't suit my oily skin, my mom says it feels moisturizing and she likes it. I don't think she has oily skin, but she's not particularly dry either.
ConsFirst off, I dislike the feeling of greasiness or stickiness, and right after application, it felt a bit tacky. It does get better if you keep patting it in, but... after a while, my face starts to look shiny again... Please refer to the photo. I applied a bit more than usual to show you clearly, but my face actually gets even oilier than what you see in the picture, with more shine...
TipMake sure to pat it in while applying. Otherwise, it doesn't absorb well.

First off, I loved how moisturizing it felt when applied. Unlike other sunscreens that go on thick and are hard to spread, this one has a fluid texture that makes it easy to apply. It's a relief compared to those stubborn sunscreens that can leave patches if you don't get the amount just right. Another great point is that there's no white cast. This sunscreen doesn't have much of a brightening effect, but if you apply a bit more, it gives a slight brightening touch. It's perfect for a natural look, and for those who wear makeup, you won't get that ghostly effect when you apply foundation over it - you know, when your face looks like it's floating above your neck!
ConsIf you have oily skin, you might notice some shine as time passes and oil builds up. Given its high moisture content and hydrating properties, it can get a bit greasy over time. The fluid texture means it can spill easily. Be careful when you first open the product - if the opening is facing downward, you might end up with more on your hands than your face! There's a bit of darkening when worn under makeup. The scent is a bit... unique. It reminds me of wood glue? As someone who pays attention to product fragrances, I found the smell off-putting, which made me reach for it less often. If you're sensitive to scents, you might want to keep this in mind. Considering the volume, it's on the pricier side. While I got mine as a Hwahae Tester, I think the price is a bit steep for 45ml.
TipBe careful when opening the cap to avoid spills. When applying, remember that more isn't always better for sun protection. Too much can make your skin look oily. Apply just the right amount for your face area and blend well for the best results.

I used it with great excitement. 1. Application It doesn't have that typical mineral sunscreen texture. It applies smoothly and evenly. It seems to absorb well too. No need for repeated patting - it just sinks right in. 2. Texture I love this type of texture! It's a bit more fluid than regular creams, but not runny. This lighter consistency feels perfect for summer :) 3. After application Sometimes sunscreens can make your face look shiny after a while (especially on no-makeup days), giving that greasy feel. It often makes you reluctant to reapply. But this one was great! Even hours later, my face wasn't overly shiny, so reapplying wasn't a hassle. It didn't cause any pilling when applied over makeup either. Plus, it doesn't dry out my skin, which is a big plus. 4. Scent I love that it's fragrance-free! Personally, I dislike when sunscreens have added fragrances. It should focus on function, right? You might notice a slight typical mineral sunscreen scent when wearing a mask, but it's not bothersome at all. 5. White cast The white cast is minimal! It's there, but not overwhelming. While it might not be enough for a no-makeup look, it's quite acceptable. Besides, with masks these days, we're not wearing much makeup anyway, right? This level of white cast with some lip balm is all you need!
ConsGiven its texture and how well it applies, the slight white cast is a bit disappointing. Some might appreciate the minimal white cast, but for me, I wish it had just a tad more for a perfect no-makeup look. The two sunscreens I currently use for no-makeup days have their own issues - one is a bit drying (typical of mineral sunscreens) and the other gets greasy over time... Apart from the white cast, I'm satisfied with this one!
TipI found that applying this thoroughly first, then layering a bit of my usual no-makeup sunscreen on top works really well!

Cons🌑Immediately after application While it applies well and feels like it creates a protective layer, it leaves marks on your phone Very rich in oils, so you need to apply powder 🌑A few hours after application Perhaps due to my combination dehydrated skin (gets oily in the afternoon), it mixes with natural oils, making my face look shiny 🌑With makeup Even with matte foundation, it adds so much hydration that it's impossible to achieve a truly matte finish
TipIf you have combination dehydrated skin like me, it's best to apply some oil-control powder as it can get quite rich!

The texture is really fluid, almost runny, so my initial impression was 'Is this an essence?' But as you spread it, there's a slight white cast that develops, and it applies smoothly like a cream. It's not super heavy though - just a bit less suffocating than your typical sunscreen. The most important thing is that it doesn't cause any blemishes on my super sensitive skin! It seems like a great sunscreen for dry skin types, offering hydration plus a touch of richness.
ConsFor my oily skin, it's a bit... As time passes, that distinctive 'greasy' feeling you get with sunscreens starts to develop, which was disappointing. That's just when finishing with the sunscreen though! When I tried applying makeup over it, it didn't get super oily, but it didn't play well with my base products. Everything just sort of crumbled and looked messy. I think it's a bit heavy for me, but it might work well in winter!
TipOverall, try applying two layers, and if you're going to put on makeup afterwards, pat it down with a clean puff. This helps control some of the excess oil and works well.

I have oily, combination dehydrated skin (not particularly sensitive though). 1. I don't usually wear much makeup, but this gives a natural brightening effect while adding a glow that makes my skin look great. It's perfect for daily use. 2. It applies smoothly, just like my favorite emulsion. 3. If you don't set it with powder, the glow intensifies over time, making your skin look like you've done an extensive skincare routine.
Cons1. It has a scent similar to white glue sold in the US... It doesn't bother me, but those sensitive to fragrances might find it uncomfortable. 2. While not severe, even as someone with oily skin, I notice a slight deep dryness. You'll need to ensure a solid skincare base before applying. 3. Being oily-skinned, despite the beautiful glow, I was slightly uncomfortable knowing it's oil-based. It's not extremely sticky, just a personal feeling as someone with oily skin.
TipAlways ensure a thorough skincare routine, and for those with oily skin, setting with powder might work better!
