The liquid formula makes it easy to apply.
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that it doesn't cleanse off easily. There's also a slight white cast.

When I apply this and then layer on my base, my skin looks absolutely beautiful. It sets faster than other products and absorbs well too. It's a mineral sunscreen, so there's a bit of a white cast, but I find it actually helps even out my skin tone, so I'm using it without any issues.
ConsDespite being slightly rich, I find it a bit suffocating on my dry skin. If I don't cleanse properly afterwards, I end up with blemishes right away. Those with super sensitive skin should be careful. Also, if you dislike white cast, you might want to skip this one. The fragrance is quite artificial and can be overwhelming if you're sensitive to scents, so I wouldn't recommend it for those who are particular about fragrances.

It worked well for evening out my complexion in summer when my face tends to get darker than my neck.
ConsExtremely drying. Even in summer, it feels like there's almost no hydration as time passes. It was challenging to use in summer since it's already difficult to apply heavy skincare during that season. Cleansing is also tricky. The white cast lasts long, so you need to cleanse thoroughly. You might think it's okay since it's a gentle sunscreen, but no! I slept without cleansing once and woke up with red blemishes the next day.
TipIf you have dry skin, it might be better to use this on your body rather than your face, applying it to your arms and legs.

I stumbled upon this product and I'm now on my second bottle! The thing I'm most thrilled about is that it doesn't cause any blemishes, which is a huge win for my acne-prone skin.
ConsWhile it doesn't trigger any breakouts, there is a white cast and it feels richer than I expected. It takes a while to absorb, so you need to spend some time spreading it out. It might feel a bit heavy during the summer months.
TipI think if you take the time to massage it in thoroughly, it should absorb well.

Please keep in mind that I used this product during the peak of summer (for a month in August)! I tend to get a lot of small, bumpy blemishes. Recently, I haven't had many inflamed or cystic acne, and my main skin concern is texture issues! (small bumps + whiteheads, acne scars) My skin is quite sensitive - if I use something that doesn't agree with it, I break out in blemishes or experience itching. The ingredients that don't work for me are stearic acid (in high concentrations), natural oils (especially citrus oils), and shea butter. It's not bad as a makeup base! There's a slight dryness, but for my combination skin, it's not too oily, and when I applied cushion foundation on top, my skin looked beautiful! I tried it with about 3-4 different foundations, and it seemed to work best with more hydrating formulas!!! It paired well with Dolce & Gabbana cushion, Estée Lauder Double Wear cushion, and Clio Glow Cream cushion! I also have the Neo cushion, but since it's more matte, a matte + matte combination might be too drying. It's great to use with a slight white cast when you're wearing a mask and don't want to bother with full makeup!
ConsIt might be too drying for those with dry skin! People who dislike white cast might not prefer this. I personally don't mind a slight white cast, so it was fine for me!!!
TipThis isn't my own unique method, but I bought this based on beauty YouTuber Yoo Hwa-i's recommendation. If you do your makeup with this sunscreen + Chanel tone-up cushion, it won't transfer onto your mask and can create a natural skin look for those who don't have much to cover up!

ConsIt does leave a slight white cast, so those with darker skin tones should be cautious!

For combination-dry skin, it's more of a summer product. Considering it's a mineral sunscreen, the absorption is impressive. There's a slight white cast, but not enough to ruin your makeup. It's not a bad choice for a foundation-free summer look.
ConsTo give you context about my skin type, I have combination skin that gets dehydrated in summer, with concerns like clogged pores, blackheads, and dryness in the T-zone that emphasizes pores. In my case, when I applied this sunscreen after just serum, my skin quickly became dry, making my pores more noticeable. There's a bit of a white cast, so those with darker complexions might want to skip this one.
TipFor dry to combination skin, only recommended for summer use. Make sure to apply a light cream or emulsion before using this sunscreen.

I used it with great excitement. 1. Application It doesn't have that typical mineral sunscreen texture. It applies smoothly and evenly. It seems to absorb well too. No need for repeated patting - it just sinks right in. 2. Texture I love this type of texture! It's a bit more fluid than regular creams, but not runny. This lighter consistency feels perfect for summer :) 3. After application Sometimes sunscreens can make your face look shiny after a while (especially on no-makeup days), giving that greasy feel. It often makes you reluctant to reapply. But this one was great! Even hours later, my face wasn't overly shiny, so reapplying wasn't a hassle. It didn't cause any pilling when applied over makeup either. Plus, it doesn't dry out my skin, which is a big plus. 4. Scent I love that it's fragrance-free! Personally, I dislike when sunscreens have added fragrances. It should focus on function, right? You might notice a slight typical mineral sunscreen scent when wearing a mask, but it's not bothersome at all. 5. White cast The white cast is minimal! It's there, but not overwhelming. While it might not be enough for a no-makeup look, it's quite acceptable. Besides, with masks these days, we're not wearing much makeup anyway, right? This level of white cast with some lip balm is all you need!
ConsGiven its texture and how well it applies, the slight white cast is a bit disappointing. Some might appreciate the minimal white cast, but for me, I wish it had just a tad more for a perfect no-makeup look. The two sunscreens I currently use for no-makeup days have their own issues - one is a bit drying (typical of mineral sunscreens) and the other gets greasy over time... Apart from the white cast, I'm satisfied with this one!
TipI found that applying this thoroughly first, then layering a bit of my usual no-makeup sunscreen on top works really well!

I loved that it didn't feel suffocating! It's a formula that can be applied effortlessly. I was worried that since it's a moisturizing sunscreen, it might leave a greasy or sticky residue, but I'm very satisfied with how it finishes with a fresh feel! I have sensitive, combination dehydrated skin that's prone to blemishes if a product is too hydrating or doesn't suit me. So, I usually test new products on my body and face before full application. As this was my first time using Skin&Lab sunscreen, I did a patch test, and when no blemishes appeared, I applied it to my face. Fortunately, there were no issues, and even after sweating, no blemishes surfaced! No itching or tingling either! This might be the sunscreen that's suited my skin best so far! I'm not a fan of sunscreens with a white cast, so I was surprised at first when it looked very white, but I was amazed at how it blended in seamlessly as if I naturally had fair skin! It doesn't look unnatural, but rather brightens the complexion itself. I think I could get away with just this, some concealer, and maybe a cushion without needing heavy base makeup!
ConsThe fluid texture caused a bit of pilling. However, it finishes fresh, making it suitable as a makeup base! There is a white cast, so those who dislike that might not enjoy it. I applied it around my eyes to check for irritation, and there was a slight stinging sensation.
TipBecause it has a fresh, powdery finish, those with very dry skin might find it a bit drying. It seems like a great product to layer makeup over after application. Since it doesn't mix with other products and brightens the complexion, it should work well with base makeup products! Due to the white cast, it might be better to apply less than usual, but in multiple layers.

I've been wanting to try this product, and I was lucky enough to win it and give it a go! My skin type is combination dehydrated, and I prefer lightweight formulas. It has a milky sunscreen texture, so you need to shake it a few times before use. The formula is white and thin - when applied to the back of my hand, it slowly drips if tilted. It's also fragrance-free. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it applies as smoothly as hybrid or chemical sunscreens. It glides on the face effortlessly, absorbs well, and doesn't leave any patchiness or clumping. The adherence to the skin is also great. As expected from a mineral sunscreen, there's a slight white cast. When applied to the face, it gives a subtle, natural brightening effect. It does provide a slight tone-up effect.
ConsWhile the milky texture applies smoothly and feels gentle, it leaves a slight stickiness. It does become a bit more refreshing after some time, but I didn't find it particularly mattifying on my skin. The natural white cast and tone-up effect didn't last long. Perhaps due to my combination dehydrated skin type, the brightening effect faded after a short while, and my skin returned to its original tone. I'm disappointed by the lack of longevity. The tone-up effect is also quite subtle, so it's not suitable for a foundation-free look on my skin type. For combination to oily skin types, this might work well in seasons other than summer. However, the gentle ingredients make it a good option for those looking for a non-irritating sunscreen. That concludes my review.
