I didn't know I needed to use a scalp essence, and now I'm kicking myself for not trying it sooner! Overall, I'd say this product is definitely above average. When you spray it on, it immediately cools down your scalp, giving a refreshing and slightly tingly sensation. It's great to use before blow-drying, and I've noticed less hair falling out too!
ConsPersonally, I've also used the Dr. Lipp toner, but I feel Aromatica has a stronger fragrance and cooling effect. Sometimes the cooling sensation can feel a bit intense, so you might need to adjust the amount you use.

It's also alcohol-free!
ConsIt's slightly irritating. I'm not sure if it's effective for hair loss.

I had read reviews about hair tonics and noticed many weren't that great, but as someone with a dry scalp and thin hair, this one worked well for me. Usage Experience: When you spray it on, it gives a cooling sensation to the scalp. It's less irritating than Aromatica's rosemary tonic. Since reducing scalp heat is said to be good for hair loss, this should be beneficial. I wish I had started using it in summer. Spraying it on, massaging the scalp with your fingers, and then combing through feels really refreshing, like a massage. The ingredients list also includes many components that are good for the scalp. While I can't say my hair suddenly grew a lot right after using it (as it takes at least a few months to see effects on hair loss), looking at the ingredients, I'm hopeful it will be effective. Texture: The texture is thin, like a toner. I find this helps it spread well across different areas of the scalp. Scent: It has a herbal scent when sprayed, which I enjoy. --- One Month Update!! I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but I feel like I'm losing less hair than before, and my crown area looks less sparse. It seems regular use is key for seeing results! The most noticeable effect is on my scalp flakes. I used to have visible flakes due to my dry scalp, but these have reduced. While it's still hard to say if it has a direct effect on hair loss, it definitely seems to be nourishing for the scalp.
ConsIrritation: If I spray it on after washing my hair, my scalp gets a bit hot and slightly red. This happens a bit even with regular use, but it's more noticeable right after washing. I think it's due to the alcohol and menthol, and as I have a sensitive scalp, it's a bit irritating for me. Greasy Look: One downside is that for a while after spraying, my hair looks a bit greasy. It feels slightly sticky. So I really don't recommend using it before going out. However, it returns to normal after some time, so I usually spray it at night. By morning, my hair is back to normal. Price: The quantity is too small for the price. For hair loss prevention, you need to use it frequently to see effects, so I wish it was a bit more affordable.
TipSpraying this and then combing with the included brush feels really refreshing. I've heard that this kind of scalp stimulation improves blood flow to the scalp, which is good for preventing hair loss. I use the tonic every night, spray it on, and then comb my scalp with the scalp brush.
