  Pros

  This is my first time trying a facial oil and I'm impressed with how moisturizing it is! My skin tends to be extremely dry, but after using this, it stays hydrated all day long without needing to use a mist.

  Cons

  However, there's a fine line between dewy and greasy... I guess it's unavoidable in winter. As for the brightening effects, I can't really tell yet.

  Tip

  Mixing it with an emulsion seems to work perfectly for me!

  Pros

  A budget-friendly aromatherapy oil with a conscience: - My skin is atopic, extremely dry, sensitive, and prone to irritation. That's why gentle, non-irritating cosmetics are absolutely crucial for me. Most functional skincare products don't agree with my skin and can cause flare-ups after just one use. But now that I'm in my 40s, I can't help but worry about brightening and firmness. That's what led me to choose this aromatherapy oil. In the past, when I received (what I consider) high-end facials, they used Neom aromatherapy oils, which suited my skin well (unlike Decleor). However, Aromatica's oil is much more affordable than that product. Plus, it doesn't cause any irritation.

  Cons

  While the product description claims it's a brightening functional oil for skin whitening, I haven't experienced any noticeable brightening effects. Nevertheless, on days when I use this oil, my skin's oil and moisture balance improves, and my extremely dry skin looks dewy and radiant.

  Tip

  After using an exfoliating toner, I apply and let absorb any essence or serum that my skin needs that day based on its condition. Then I add a drop or two of this oil to my emulsion and layer it on. On days when I use this oil, I don't even need to apply a moisturizing cream to prevent dryness.

  Pros

  Despite being an oil, it doesn't feel slippery or heavy when applied. Instead, it leaves the skin feeling comfortably moisturized. The best part is that you can use this face oil without worrying about blemishes.

  Cons

  Although it claims to have brightening properties, I didn't notice any significant improvement in terms of skin brightening.

  1. Feels velvety smooth 2. Doesn't slip or slide 3. Absorbs well, leaving skin feeling soft and powdery 4. Seems to have almost no scent

  Cons

  1. Lighter than a rich oil, but as I age and my skin gets drier... I feel this might not be enough 2. Doesn't layer well with other products 3. Can't really tell if it has any brightening effects

  Tip

  I dispense a full dropper onto my hands, warm it up, then press it gently into my face. I use any excess to massage the ends of my hair

  Pros

  It's not too heavy! As someone with oily skin, I was hesitant about using oils, but this product wasn't burdensome at all. Unlike products that don't suit me and cause blemishes, I had no such issues with this one. It was great to use in spring, fall, and winter - just not summer!

  Cons

  I wouldn't expect much in terms of brightening effects. Although it's labeled as a brightening facial oil, I didn't really notice my complexion becoming brighter even after using up almost the entire bottle!

  Tip

  During these dry times, it's great to warm up about two drops between your palms in the morning, then press it gently into your skin. This helps your makeup stay put without looking cakey. I've also found that mixing a drop with your foundation works wonderfully!

  Pros

  I was looking for an additional oil product for winter and chose this Aromatica one because I liked the scent, plus it was on sale at the time. I didn't experience any blemishes, and as with all Aromatica products, I found it quite satisfactory to use.

  Cons

  I didn't expect much in terms of brightening effects, and indeed, it doesn't seem to have much of that function. Also, it tends to solidify in cold winter temperatures. They suggest placing it in warm water, but that's inconvenient. It does melt quickly if you warm it up a bit, but honestly, it was bothersome and annoying. For those with dry skin looking for hydration, this might not be sufficient.

  With the weather getting so dry lately, I snagged this during a sale. For an oil, it's surprisingly lightweight, making it perfect for combination skin without feeling heavy. The scent is also pleasantly mild. Personally, I find it works best when I apply 1-2 drops right after cleansing, before starting my skincare routine, rather than using it as a final step.

  Cons

  I'm not sure about its brightening effects... Maybe it's because I haven't used it for long enough. However, it seems to be doing a decent job with hydration.

  Tip

  As the weather turned colder, my skin became extremely dry. I've been applying 1 drop right after cleansing during the day and 2 drops at night, and it's really helped reduce the dryness.

  My skin is super sensitive, so I originally went to buy CareZone products, but they were out of stock at Olive Young. I bought this on the employee's recommendation during a half-price sale, and it's great! I bought it for hydration and I'm extremely satisfied. I have oily skin, so I use about 3 drops, rubbing it in and pressing it into my skin. I've made it through the winter without any deep dryness! I was a bit worried about blemishes, but none appeared and it worked well. The scent is also very natural and healthy. Being a natural oil, it solidifies a bit in colder temperatures. It's great for mixing with heavier bases, and I'm most pleased that the deep dryness I was concerned about is gone!

  Cons

  Being a natural oil, it solidifies when you wake up in the cold (during winter). Before washing my face, I place it in front of the heater, and when I come back, it's melted just right. I didn't buy it expecting whitening effects, but it is called a whitening oil, so I'm not sure about that effect. That's why I'm giving it four stars! However, the hydration is good, and most importantly, it doesn't cause any blemishes on my skin, so I'm extremely satisfied!

  Tip

  If you're in a hurry, you can quickly melt it by giving it a brief blast with a hair dryer!
