First off, I have an oily scalp prone to heat sensitivity, curly hair, and a face with extremely oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin. 1. Scent It might be polarizing, but there's a slight nutty, plant-based oil scent. While I wouldn't love the fragrance on its own, it's quite subtle, so it blends well with any shampoo. It smells like it has good ingredients. 2. Hair texture It doesn't make your hair silky smooth, but it feels like it provides just the essential nourishment. It might make your hair look slightly damaged, but it doesn't tangle or get weighed down, which is great. 3. Value for money It's a really large size and you can buy it cheaply at the supermarket, which is fantastic. 4. Ingredients The ingredients seem to work well for me. Other conditioners or treatments make my face break out, but this one is fine, so I've been using it exclusively for years. The scent is just like oil, which isn't great. It doesn't improve hair texture. I don't use any heat styling, perms, dyes, or bleach, but my hair still feels like a broom! - ra******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedJan 31, 2024
I bought this with my own money out of curiosity while grocery shopping at E-mart. It's personally one of my favorite products. My unruly hair turns silky smooth as soon as I use this. I love that it's slightly thick in texture. It's become a staple in my routine because even a small amount gives great results. The scent is somewhat reminiscent of men's skincare that's been left in a warm place for too long. It's not exactly unpleasant, but it's not fresh either. - eo*****Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 4, 2024
Great value for a large size. You can often find it at a discounted price during promotions in big supermarkets. The texture isn't particularly rich. The scent might be a bit overpowering and could be hit-or-miss for some people. - sh****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 3, 2021
My hair feels softer and it's great value for money! I broke out in blemishes. The fragrance isn't great either... This time I'm trying to use something with better ingredients. For me, my facial skin is more important than my hair texture. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMar 20, 2021
It doesn't leave an oily residue. The texture is light. The scent is quite strong - I wonder if that's to combat scalp odor? What I initially thought was a plus - the lightweight treatment - is actually a drawback. It doesn't seem to nourish or penetrate to the ends of my hair. I bought it as a 2-for-1 deal, but I'm planning to give the extra away. My hair ends up tangled. I'm going back to LPP. Since the treatment lacks its core function and nourishment, I add about three drops of hair oil to enhance its effectiveness. - al********Normal SkinSensitive SkinDec 30, 2020
I don't regret buying it, but I won't repurchase this product. Price: I bought it bundled with shampoo at the supermarket. Effectiveness: It's more like a regular conditioner than a treatment. I have damaged hair that tends to frizz and is quite thick, so I usually only use treatments. I apply them generously and always massage them in. However, no matter how much of this product I use or how long I massage it, the result is the same. It causes a lot of static and doesn't soften the hair at all. I had high hopes because of its thick consistency, but it's just an ordinary conditioner. It's slightly better than the shampoo, so I'm giving it 2 points. Packaging: The pump should be longer or the bottle should narrow towards the opening so you can use it all up easily. When this is almost empty, nothing comes out and it's really inconvenient to have to tap it to get the product out. The bottle is too big to hold comfortably, and the top is so wide that the product doesn't come out of the opening properly. At this point, it's impossible to use in the morning rush. It's better than the shampoo. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 18, 2020
First of all, I absolutely adore the scent of argan oil, so every time I use this treatment, it puts me in a great mood! Considering its large size, the price is quite reasonable. It seems to function well as a treatment, so I'm very satisfied with it. I'm not sure if it would be effective for those with severely damaged hair. My hair is generally healthy, so I didn't experience any dramatic effects like my hair becoming incredibly soft or smooth. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 19, 2020
While the ingredients aren't perfect, you get a large amount at an affordable price. It's not like a rinse, but more like a hair pack - thick and creamy. After use, your hair doesn't feel dry and becomes noticeably softer. Checking on Hwahae, the ingredients list is a bit disappointing. The scent is unremarkable and quite ordinary. The large size can become tiresome, making you want to use it up quickly. - th*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 15, 2020
I've tried pretty much everything out there, but this is truly amazing for taming my hair. With my bleached hair that tends to get frizzy, this product really calms it down and makes it noticeably softer. The scent is one I really dislike. I can't quite put my finger on what it is, but the smell is just not pleasant. Also, I've just realized the ingredients aren't great, so I plan to switch to something else once I finish this. Just use it like you would any hair mask.
