Isoi has long been on my radar as a ethical brand I've wanted to try. I was thrilled to receive this ampoule through The Hwahae Testers. The minimalist packaging immediately caught my eye. As someone who prefers patting in liquid formulas multiple times instead of using toner, I fell in love with this fragrance-free liquid ampoule! I usually pat in liquid ampoules several times, and with the Isoi Galactomyces Ampoule, two applications provided ample hydration and nourishment. Three applications left a slightly oily finish with some shine. I settled on two applications to replace both toner and ampoule steps. Afterwards, I'd apply a moisturizer mixed with a drop or two of jojoba oil for sufficient hydration. On particularly dry mornings, I'd use toner generously, apply the Isoi ampoule twice, then moisturizer (without oil), and experienced no deep dryness. (Usually, I just did two Isoi ampoule applications and moisturizer in the morning, saving the jojoba oil mix for evenings.) After about a week, I noticed my skin texture looked more refined when cleansing in the morning. It feels incredibly gentle on my skin. My blemishes seem to be calming down too! With its clean, fragrance-free formula, generous volume, skin-friendly ingredients, and reasonable price, I'm definitely planning to repurchase this multiple times!
ConsIn the week to 10 days of use, I didn't notice any changes in wrinkles. It might take longer-term use to see results in that area. If I had to nitpick, applying it multiple times can leave a slightly oily finish on the surface, which might not be ideal for everyone.
TipFor those experiencing deep dryness, here's my hydration tip: Instead of using toner, I usually pat this ampoule 2-3 times (or more if you don't mind the rich texture), followed by these routines: 1. Isoi Ampoule (2-3 pats) → Moisturizer + Hyaluronic Acid → Jojoba Oil 2. Isoi Ampoule (2-3 pats) → Another single-ingredient ampoule → Moisturizer + Oil These methods definitely helped reduce dryness! I prefer using a simple, clean ampoule like Isoi's generously as the first skincare step instead of toner. I find this approach less burdensome on my skin and more hydrating than layering multiple complex products. (I also choose moisturizers that focus on hydration rather than those with too many complex ingredients.)
