I continued using it for another week since no blemishes appeared, and as I mentioned in my initial review, there's a definite improvement in my complexion. Applying a generous amount also provides decent hydration and seems to improve skin texture. My boyfriend even asked what I've been doing differently because my skin looks better, and the only change has been consistently using this product. Hence, I'm adding this update. Original review: Here's my feedback after using the product for about 2 weeks as part of the Hwahae Testers program (thank you for selecting me!). First, my skin type is combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes if I don't exfoliate daily. Usage routine: Make P:rem cleanser + Isoi ampoule, or Make P:rem cleanser + Isoi ampoule + Make P:rem moisturizer (I've been using the Make P:rem cleanser and cream regularly. They're very gentle and provide basic care without causing any irritation, so I didn't think they'd interfere with testing this product.) The Isoi Origin Galactomyces Power Ampoule has such a watery consistency that I thought it was a toner until I properly read the product name! It doesn't feel like a typical high-nutrition, high-moisture ampoule. It feels more like a light, easily applicable product. Pro 1: I appreciate the small bottle size. It's less of a financial burden to buy in smaller quantities, and it ensures I'm using a fresher product. Pro 2: With continued use, I noticed my complexion becoming slightly brighter.
ConsCon 1: I used to have some bumpy texture under my skin (not inflamed, just very early stage blemishes), which I had improved significantly with exfoliation and hydration. My skin had been smooth for over a year, but after using this, I noticed some bumps returning. I wondered if fermented skincare doesn't suit me or if it was just my body's natural cycle. After taking a break for a few days, the bumps disappeared. When I started using it again for the review, I applied a larger amount on its own, and it seems to prevent any new bumps from forming. I'll need to use it longer to determine if it truly suits my skin. Con 2: The hydration power is weak. Con 3: It stings if it gets into your eyes.
TipI found it more effective to apply a larger amount at once rather than layering multiple thin applications. (I use about the amount shown on my hand in the photo.)
