  The small size allowed for quick use, and the fragrance was delightful.

  I found it a bit on the oily side. I wouldn't recommend this for those with oily scalps.

  Tip

  Instead of applying it directly to my scalp, I lathered it up and then massaged it onto my scalp!

  Pros

  As someone with thick, curly, long hair, I found the subtle signature scent of Polygen quite pleasant. It lathers nicely, and even without using conditioner or treatment, my hair was easy to comb through. I love the sleek combination of the matte case with white and red accents.

  Cons

  I mistakenly bought this product thinking it was the original, but the texture felt heavier. No matter how much I rinsed, there was always a lingering residue. With my long, thick hair, I immediately noticed the discomfort. Usually, with a well-suited product, my hair stays nice for up to two days, but with this one, it started getting greasy by late evening.

  Tip

  Recently, I've switched to washing my hair with Dove. Now I only use this product about once every three days for a light cleanse, followed by a rinse with regular soap.

  Pros

  It doesn't cause dead skin cells to flake, doesn't leave a dry feeling, and is said to be good for hair loss. I'm using it with satisfaction.

  Cons

  For those with oily scalps, it might make your hair greasy quickly. When I wash my hair in the morning, by afternoon my bangs become flat and limp.

  Tip

  It works well when alternated with a shampoo that has strong cleansing effectiveness (which leaves hair slightly dry).
