  May be too drying for those with dry skin if used alone CAUTION: The texture is very watery, unlike other ampoules, so it will run down your face and neck if applied directly. Instead, dispense into your hand and pat onto your face

  I bought this product because it's commonly used in dermatology clinics and contains azulene, which is said to help with blemishes. I mainly applied it as the first step after my exfoliating toner, and it absorbed well. The texture is watery and flows smoothly, and the generous amount allowed me to apply two layers for better absorption. Since azulene is known for its anti-inflammatory properties, I used it liberally.

  Cons

  During use, I didn't see significant improvement in small bumps, and there weren't any dramatic effects. However, I did use it often to soothe my skin after extracting blemishes. The price is quite steep, so I'll probably look for a more cost-effective product in the future.

  Tip

  The watery texture isn't meant for deep hydration, so when I only used this followed by a cream, it wasn't enough to combat deep dryness. I'd recommend using an additional hyaluronic acid serum for better results.
