I don't think there's been anything particularly disappointing about using this product so far.

Now that I've gotten used to it, I'm not sure about the whitening effect, but when I first used it, my skin became so bright that my usual shade 21 turned into 17! I was really surprised. People kept asking what I had applied to my face even though I wasn't wearing makeup, which made me feel great! Also, when your skin gets tanned, just one application of this can restore it to its original state in no time!

About two weeks in, I began experiencing heat sensations and redness on my face. It would flare up twice a day unpredictably. After stopping use for a week, the heat/redness reduced to about three times a week.

After my skin flared up in summer leaving uneven pigmentation, I decided to try this vitamin serum since I was already using Histolab's hyaluronic acid and azulene products. It has a pleasant scent when applying, absorbs well, and I've seen improvements in my hyperpigmentation.
