The texture is lighter and softer rather than thick! I used to use the Andallowe rinse, but this product has a much lighter formula. As someone with extremely sensitive skin, I did not experience any allergic reactions. However, the minty scent was more pronounced compared to the Andallowe products. While the Andallowe products seem to focus more on nourishing the hair, this product also provides nourishment but seems to focus more on the hair texture.
