Becomes moisturizing after applying multiple times.
ConsThere was a slight stinging sensation at first. But it became fine after getting used to it.

The appearance was also clean and nice.
ConsThe product has a very strong chemical smell. While using it, my skin felt irritated and my face swelled up so much that I thought I was going to die. I don't know if the cosmetics are that strong, but my face has been red and swollen since about the 5th day. It's painful to the touch... My mother thought I had been hit. I don't recommend this to anyone with combination skin. I really thought I was going to die. It took me a month to recover.

Until the acne started, I didn't really care about skincare (I was only interested in color cosmetics and used just one moisturizer all year round!) It was an unfamiliar brand, but it turned out to be very famous in the natural cosmetics industry ㅋㅋㅋ This time, I purchased the Aloe Essential along with the basic products and switched everything to Sidmool! My sudden severe acne was red, dense, and painful until it matured, but thanks to the tea tree ingredient in this product, the calming effect reduced the redness a lot! As a oily skin type, the lightweight lotion that wasn't greasy was even better. I would recommend this to oily skin types who are looking for a good lotion, even if they don't have acne. The application is smooth and creamy, like an emulsion. And the moisture to oil ratio is about 8:2, with just the minimum amount of oil to prevent moisture evaporation.
ConsSince it contains tea tree, it may give a cooling sensation that goes beyond just a light feeling and cause a stinging sensation for those with sensitive and thin skin ㅠ I liked this product so much that I even gave it as a gift to my brother who has been dealing with acne for 5 years in the military, but he said he couldn't use it because it stung. If the herbal ingredients don't suit you, or if you have sensitive and delicate skin, please be cautious.
TipI have very oily skin, so after washing my face at night and waking up in the morning, oil comes up on my T-zone area to the point of being severe. However, my cheeks and forehead are relatively dry. For those of us with different conditions in different areas, this product may make the drier areas feel tight. That's why since my acne started, I've been using just: Cleansing > Toner > Aloe (+ Argan Oil) > Mild Lotion /I just apply the Aloe Essential on the T-zone, and mix a drop or two of Argan Oil into it for the cheeks and forehead./ Even with just this routine, you won't have to worry about tightness on the drier areas in the winter!

ConsAfter applying it and about a week passing, I developed milia and got flaky, irritated skin around my eyes. It just didn't work for me.

I purchased this product just recently.
ConsI used this product only once and my face started to feel hot and became reddish, and small bumps appeared, so I stopped using it. It seems the tea tree ingredient didn't agree with me. Tea tree ingredients may not be suitable for sensitive skin, so be careful. I also had the same symptoms and stopped using the tea tree cleanser.

It's more like just maintaining the status quo with a very, very slight moisturizing effect.
ConsThe moisturizing effect is almost non-existent. I just applied it and my face feels very irritated. I used it together with propolis (seed oil), and it caused me to break out in acne. Now that I've stopped using the propolis, the acne doesn't seem to be getting worse, but I'll need to use it for about a month to know for sure if that was the cause. It's just too drying.

I think it would be good for normal skin.
ConsIt wasn't great for me, as I have combination and inflammatory, allergic skin... Some days it would itch and I would get pimples too.. It was irritating.

But I'm really satisfied and have been using it for the third bottle. I guess cosmetics are hit-or-miss, haha. I'm 24 years old and have sensitive, dry combination skin. If I use products with too much oil or bad ingredients, I get breakouts or itchiness... my skin is so fussy. My skin texture is relatively good, and I don't have major breakouts, so when I put on makeup, the redness is covered, and it looks nice. But the way I feel my skin is almost like a 49-year-old mother's - very dry. When the dryness gets severe, it feels tight and hot, and my makeup starts to peel off... that's the kind of skin I have. I'm confident I won't feel parched anywhere I go, but at night, I cleanse, use an absorbing toner, fermented products, ampoules, apply this lotion in thin layers 2-3 times, and finish with a moisturizer. Even in this changing weather, it's been working well, and most importantly, there's no itchiness or breakouts for me. If I just apply the product once, the moisture isn't enough, but when I absorb it in thin layers 2-3 times, my face feels comfortable. In the very windy winter, I mix in a drop of oil at the last absorption step, and then I get a nice, plump moisturizing effect... haha. This product has actually helped calm down my breakouts, so I'm really satisfied with it.
Cons1. If someone is usually sensitive to natural oils or tea tree ingredients, or has inflammatory acne and is very sensitive, this product might cause a stinging sensation for them. One of the friends who recommended this product had that kind of skin, and they felt it didn't quite suit them. That friend had acne at a level of skin damage and had a sensitive, stinging skin. 2. If you're looking for immediate hydration or a dramatic feel-good effect, this product may not be the best fit. Other than that, it works really well for me, and I don't have any complaints. If you're looking for a centella product and want something that provides hydration more directly, I'd recommend the Centella Calming Lotion. I used that one really well before switching to this, and it helped a lot in calming my pre-period breakouts, so I've been on my third bottle now, haha. The Centella line tends to provide a hydrating feel right after application. (★ But I haven't found a product yet that gives an immediate "wow, this is so hydrating" sensation just from one application, even among the good-ingredient products. Especially for my skin, which is sensitive to silicones and irritants, those chemically-hydrated products don't work well for me - my face ends up feeling itchy and scratchy.)
TipAs I mentioned before, the basic hydration of this product is quite light, so you'll need to apply it in thin layers multiple times to really experience its benefits. Honestly, when I apply it just once, it feels a bit drying and tight for me too. But this is a gentle, well-absorbing moisturizer, so if you gently pat it on with two fingers in a few layers, the tight, parched feeling goes away completely, and my face feels so much more comfortable! In the winter, I add a drop or two of oil to the last layer before sealing it all in with a cream. The next morning, my skin feels so plump and hydrated. It also seems to have a calming effect on my breakouts. The formula itself isn't the kind that will cause your makeup to slide off, even if you apply multiple layers (ugh, that peeling, sliding makeup feeling is the worst... but this one doesn't do that). ★I can't say it completely prevents dryness or keeps my skin dewy all the way through the night, given how extremely dry and tight my skin gets, inside and out. But among all the lotions and skincare products I've tried, this is one of the few that has really satisfied me, which is why I'm rambling on my phone keyboard like this, haha. I hope this is helpful for anyone considering this product. I really appreciate the Hwahae app for being so useful for my sensitive skin, so I wanted to share an in-depth review of one of the long-term products I've been using. This isn't just blind praise! (And yes, I know multiple layers can help with dryness, but products with just silicones or excess oil don't actually solve the underlying dryness, they just create a surface-level occlusion. This one absorbs well and truly hydrates, even with layering.) That's my experience with it. ^0^

ConsIt makes my skin feel really rough and stingy. I really need to get rid of this dead skin.
