If you're into nude lip products, give this a try! It's fantastic for toning down bolder lip colors when layered on top. I often use it to soften an intense red tint, and the result is amazing! It's perfect for creating a more subtle finish. If you're not a fan of matte formulas, you might want to skip this one. In my case, it tends to accentuate dry, flaky skin on my lips. For best results, moisturize your lips first, then apply a darker base color and finish with this on top. It creates a gorgeous MLBB (My Lips But Better) shade that looks so sophisticated! - my****Combination SkinAtopic SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedAug 11, 2023
It's great as a base lip product, offering a plumping effect while providing a delicate pink base Why on earth is this discontinued? It absolutely needs to be renewed and relaunched - 20******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 6, 2023
I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive with redness. My skin reacts poorly to oils, heavy oil-based products, strong vitamins, and alcohol. Pores are my biggest concern. My skin develops an allergic reaction to sunscreens, so I'm looking for a non-allergenic one. When I apply this over other products, it definitely lasts longer. It has a matte finish that feels like it's holding everything in place. Especially when I finish with this after using Hourglass products, the staying power seems to increase tenfold! It doesn't pair as well with other products like Chanel Rouge though. Interestingly, when I use this product alone, the longevity isn't that great. The color is pretty though. But why does it have that sudden spicy sensation when applied? - st*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 3, 2023
The intriguing color is truly captivating! When applied in a single layer, it's perfect as a base lip color. With two or more applications, it develops a slightly muted tone with a hint of redness. (In the photo, the left swatch is one swipe, while the right shows multiple layers) On its own, the shade doesn't quite match my complexion, so I've been using it primarily as a base. The way it adapts to each person's natural lip color can be both a pro and a con, depending on your perspective While it glides on smoothly, there are areas where the formula tends to clump. I found that applying it with a brush or smudging it with my fingers works best - ga********Oily SkinAcne SkinMar 1, 2023
Let's talk about Hera's Sensual Spicy Nude Volume Matte Etiquette! I have a fall dark tone in shades 22-23 (professionally diagnosed by the company!). 1. Color: Etiquette is a nude rosy MLBB shade. It has a muted undertone, which might look beautiful on those with deep undertones. Unfortunately, it didn't suit me well as I have a lot of cool undertones, which was quite disappointing. 2. Texture: It has a semi-matte formula. The lipstick applies smoothly. 1. Emphasizes dead skin cells: While it applies smoothly, it does tend to accentuate dead skin cells a bit. 2. Plumping effect?: I was a bit worried seeing 'spicy' in the name, and it did have a strong tingling sensation. If you dislike that characteristic tingling feeling, I wouldn't recommend this. (That being said, it didn't actually have a plumping effect.) 3. For a matte texture, it transfers more than expected! - ph******Oily SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 3, 2022
This base lip color is perfect for those with a light undertone. It gives you that 'no-makeup makeup' look while still brightening up your complexion. The downside is that the staying power is a bit disappointing, and it lacks a bit in terms of adherence to the lips. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 3, 2022
The Hera Sensual Spicy Nude Volume Matte in the shade Etiquette closely resembles natural lip color and is very similar to a dried rose hue. It's not a bright shade, but rather a natural-looking color. Unfortunately, there's no plumping effect, and it occasionally accentuates dead skin cells and settles into fine lines. Also, the staying power isn't particularly impressive. - eh******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 1, 2022
The MLB BB cream has a nice range of shades, but as a cool-toned person, it wasn't quite right for me. I think it would be perfect for daily use for those with warm undertones! I really liked the fresh, glowing effect it gave. The color payoff isn't too intense, so it should work well for a natural look too. The color payoff is a bit ambiguous? It's somewhere between a lip balm and a lipstick... I wish Hera could improve the ingredients. Also, I didn't notice any difference in lip volume. No special tips. Just a quick swipe for daily use if you have warm undertones! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 8, 2022
I usually don't suit nude lips, but Etiquette has such a natural color payoff that it looks like my own lips, just enhanced! Plus, it has a cooling effect, so you don't get that typical lipstick heaviness after application. The staying power isn't great, unfortunately. However, since I tend to touch up my lip products frequently, it wasn't a major issue for me. - ry*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 3, 2022
I was expecting a strong plumping effect like a Hwahae toothpaste, but it was pleasantly moderate for my taste. The smooth texture, design, and grip feel are sophisticated and appealing, as expected from Hera. However, it feels more like a thick velvet lip balm than I anticipated, and the color doesn't look particularly flattering on my cool-toned skin. I wish it applied a bit more thinly. It would probably pair well with moisturizing and oily lip products.
