The case is pretty. The color isn't too intense, making it perfect for daily wear. Despite not using it often, it wears down quickly due to the small amount. The product page showed a cool, light pink shade, but in reality, it's more of a warm coral. As a cool-toned person who doesn't suit warm tones, it's disappointing that it doesn't blend well with my complexion. The color is absolutely perfect, 10 out of 10! I love how it creates a beautiful matte finish. It severely emphasizes dead skin cells, settles into lip lines, and tends to clump up quite a bit.

I'm currently using shade 115 Pink Salt. While the product page described it as a light cool pink, the actual color is more like a red with a drop of pink, or a cherry pink hue. True to its 'Spicy' name, it gives a tingling sensation on the lips when applied. This tingling is supposed to create a plumping effect, but I didn't really notice any plumping. The most attractive color payoff comes from applying it once or twice, allowing it to blend with the natural transparency of your lips. Layering it on thickly makes it feel heavy and can look messy. First off, the packaging is lovely and it absorbs well. Personally, I like that it has a slight cooling effect. It's not overpowering or intense. To be honest, there's no plumping effect to speak of, just a subtle cooling sensation. For this product to look pretty, your lips need to be completely free of dead skin cells. I usually take care of my lips with a sleeping mask, but when I apply this product, it tends to cling to lip lines and any dry patches. It's also much cooler-toned than I expected. I bought it thinking it would be a deep undertone pink, but when applied, it's extremely cool-toned. This makes my lips look like they're floating. Lastly, the product size is surprisingly large. When applied, this lipstick gives a slightly warm sensation with a mild plumping effect. It glides on smoothly too. Though it's described as matte, it's not dry at all and applies softly. The color is just the perfect pink - an ideal everyday shade that's not too bold. The case is so unique and beautiful, it's to die for! It slightly accentuates dead skin cells on the lips. The Hera Sensual Spicy Nude Volume Matte in Pink Salt is a perfect shade for cool-toned skin. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous, and the lipstick applies smoothly with a lovely moisturizing feel. One downside I noticed is that you'll need to be careful storing it during summer, as it might melt easily. I like moisturizing products but hate the stickiness that makes hair cling to my lips. This one hits the sweet spot - it's like a tinted lip balm that applies thinly with good color payoff. It goes on clear without any white cast and makes your lips look plumper. It can emphasize dead skin cells and has a soft texture, so I don't use it alone. I dab it on top of other lip products. I'm guessing I have a light undertone, but I'm a sucker for different colors. When I buy various shades that don't match my complexion, I tap this on top to brighten up my face. You can even use it as an eyeshadow - just pat it onto your eyelids before applying makeup. It seems to improve the longevity of my makeup too. Since my skin tends to be on the dry side, Skinfood tends to run warm, so I apply Oatmeal Beige first, then dab on Pink Salt. The staining effect is beautiful and the staying power is fantastic. The color is absolutely gorgeous! My skin tone falls between cool and deep undertone, and this applies beautifully on me. There's nothing particularly bad to mention! Being matte, it naturally shows some dead skin cells, but it's surprisingly soft for a matte formula, so the emphasis on flaky skin isn't too severe.
