It strikes a perfect balance between luxury and sophistication. The semi-transparent design allows the inner container to subtly shine through, creating a beautiful effect. There's been a lot of talk about the texture, and I found it to be pretty decent. It reminds me of a matte version of that refreshing Holika Holika lip balm/stick. For a matte lipstick, it's quite soft, but I think that's just right. It's much smoother than overly dry formulas, applying naturally and effortlessly. However, if it were any softer, it might be problematic. I did worry it could melt in this weather if not stored properly. I've been carrying it in my bag when I go out, and it hasn't melted yet, but I wouldn't recommend keeping it in your pocket during summer! The color is incredibly natural. I prefer light makeup, and lately, I've been avoiding overly bold lips. Even when trying products advertised as 'MLBB' (My Lips But Better), they often still look artificial. This one, though, is truly natural. It's both a pro and a con - the color is so sheer that it can never be applied heavily. I'm satisfied because that's exactly what I wanted! Don't worry about it making your lips look lifeless. It adds a subtle vitality to bare lips, and when worn over makeup, it gives that perfect nude lip look. However, if you have naturally dark lips or a skin tone darker than shade 23, you might find it less satisfying. The staying power isn't great, but that's part of its charm too. Unlike typical matte lipsticks that apply like opaque paint with intense staining, this product is more like a watercolor - sheer and translucent. I don't mind reapplying, but if you find that bothersome, it might bother you. It's also great for creating an overlip effect! Because it looks so natural, you can slightly overdraw your lip line to make your lips appear fuller. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product!
ConsIt doesn't seem worth the full price, as it's very soft and likely to be used up quickly. The staying power is also poor. They claim it has a plumping effect, and while it does create a tingling sensation like you've eaten spicy food, I didn't notice much actual plumping. Though that might be because I already have naturally full lips. If you have sensitive lips, I strongly recommend patch testing before purchasing. Also, I wouldn't recommend this for those with very wrinkled lips or a lot of dead skin cells.
TipExcept for the Nude Cream shade, don't try to build up the color by applying multiple layers - it won't look good. The product seems designed to give a sheer, subtle finish. For the best results, apply it in one smooth stroke and then gently pat it in. The Nude Cream color is lovely, by the way. I recommend it!

It has a plumping effect that gives your lips a slight tingle, but it's refreshingly pleasant.
ConsPerhaps due to its light color, it doesn't last very long. I wouldn't recommend it for those with naturally darker lip tones.
TipI've been using it as a great base lipstick when applying moisturizing tints.
