  Pros

  I've used up one bottle. I was surprised at first because it came out like water, even though it's called an essence. Despite being thin, it's actually quite hydrating when applied. The scent is pleasant, and I like that it's not heavy.

  Cons

  While it didn't cause any blemishes and the fragrance isn't overpowering, I wouldn't recommend this to those who dislike watery textures. The consistency is very liquid-like.

  Absorbs well and applies smoothly When I first squeezed this product out, I thought it wouldn't absorb well due to its water-like texture. But as I massaged it in, it absorbed surprisingly quickly! It absorbs fast, doesn't feel sticky, and that's great. Ingredients and effectiveness From the moment I read about the ingredients, I knew it would be suitable for children, suggesting it's very gentle. Personally, after applying it for the first time, I noticed my skin felt well-hydrated and moisturized the next day. Especially on days when my face felt itchy due to fine dust, applying this before bed seemed to help. I wonder if it's because of the bellflower root extract?

  Cons

  The main drawback, if you can call it that, is probably the scent. It has a slightly herbal smell - you know the kind, right? But considering it contains bellflower and silkworm extracts, I suppose it's an honest fragrance. The scent is quite strong, but since I'm not particularly sensitive, this is the only downside I could come up with!

  Tip

  The bellflower extract seems to soothe the skin well. You know those days when your face feels itchy? Try applying this before bed on such days.

  Pros

  It feels moisturizing and gentle. I'm not sure if it's actually for babies, but I used it thinking it was that safe. It's almost like a skin toner. I used it well in the beginning.

  Cons

  I couldn't believe it, but when I apply only this, my face turns red and doesn't calm down easily. Although the ingredients aren't harmful, something must not agree with my skin. However, since the same thing happens even when I spray just Avène thermal water, I think my skin was just in a sensitive state. I quickly recovered after going to the dermatologist and using prescribed medication. Now my skin is super sensitive, so I can hardly use anything except the medication from the doctor. As soon as I try to use even mild cosmetics after finishing the medication, I get a reaction, so I'm using the medication as my basic skincare instead. Medication is the best... But they say it's not good to use medication for too long, so I'm thinking I should try cosmetics again.

  It dries quickly, so make sure to apply a moisturizer after letting it absorb.

  As someone with extremely dry skin, I found most toners too light, but this one is absolutely amazing! I wish more people knew about it so it doesn't get discontinued. The texture is lighter than an essence but slightly heavier than a typical toner. I use it as a toner before applying emulsion. My sister sometimes uses just this in summer, even at night, because it's so hydrating and moisturizing! I've had trouble with hyaluronic acid in other essences, but this one contains sodium hyaluronate and doesn't irritate my skin at all. It's made with such mild ingredients that even pregnant women and babies can use it - great for those with atopic dermatitis too! Our whole family loves using it.

  Cons

  There's nothing I dislike about it. I just hope it doesn't get discontinued because I want to keep using it for a long time! However, it does contain fermented ingredients, which might not suit everyone.

  Tip

  When my skin feels dry or irritated, I like to use it as a mask by applying it to a cotton pad - it works wonders! I go through it quite quickly, so I always buy two bottles at a time.

  After toner, I pat it in and it absorbs beautifully. The hydration is amazing and there's absolutely no stickiness. I love it!

  Cons

  You need to be careful when pressing the container. Since it's quite liquid, if you press too hard, it leaks out. What a shame!

  Pros

  I used to only use cheap green tea toner, but I think this product is even better. It's really gentle and has great hydration, making it perfect for the 7-skin method. After applying this toner in 7 layers, I only needed to apply a thin layer of my next skincare product to keep my skin continuously moisturized and supple without the hydration evaporating.

  Cons

  There weren't really any downsides. I just think it would have been even better to use if the container had a spray nozzle.

  Tip

  Highly recommended for the 7-skin method!
