ConsSome reviews say it's not moisturizing enough or doesn't remove dead skin cells well, but I think that's because of winter use. It's great for summer - less thick than a balm and does a decent job of managing dead skin cells.

It's not as sticky as a typical gloss, nor as slippery as a pure oil! I think this product excels in moisturizing, absorbs well, and has great staying power. Being extremely sensitive to scents, I usually avoid anything with a medicinal smell or even slightly off-putting fragrance. However, this one has a delightful aroma that's a perfect blend of passion fruit and grapefruit, making application a mood-boosting experience! You only need to use a small amount, so it lasts a long time and doesn't feel too expensive. I'm already on my third tube, and I've settled on Burt's Bees lip oil for my lip care routine. When I think about other lip balms I've barely used, lost, or left forgotten in a drawer, I cringe at the wasted money!
ConsApart from one cautionary ingredient due to the fragrance, I didn't find any other downsides to this product.
TipAs someone prone to lip peeling and frequent cold sores, I found this product's intense hydration super helpful. I apply a thin layer of lip balm first, then layer this on top for extra protection.
