The exfoliation could use some improvement, though.

The product was really well-applied and moisturizing. I chose between almond and passion fruit, and the scent is just wonderful!

This doesn't seem to be a lip oil that's meant to hydrate the lips. I applied it generously before bed, but when I woke up in the morning, my lips were still just as dry. It seems better to use this more as a lip gloss concept.

The fragrance is so lovely when applied to the lips... A sweet fruity scent❣️ My lips were extremely dry, and when I applied a matte lipstick, the flakiness was really accentuated. But when I applied this lightly over the matte lipstick, the flakiness was less pronounced, and my lips didn't feel tight and were left looking nice and glossy.

Since I tend to have a lot of lip flakiness and my lips often get chapped, I've found that applying a thin layer of this product over a nourishing lip balm has been really helpful in keeping my lips moisturized and healthy.

Apart from the one potentially concerning ingredient due to the fragrance, I didn't have any other major issues with this product.

It's a rather ambiguous formula, somewhere between a lip oil and a lip gloss, but that's what makes it feel so good. It's not too sticky like a lip gloss, nor too slippery like a lip oil!
It seems to be a great product in terms of moisturizing power, absorption, and lasting effect.
I'm very sensitive to scents, so I usually avoid anything that smells medicinal or off, but this one has a nice fruity scent, somewhere between passion fruit and grapefruit, which I really enjoy every time I apply it!
You only need to use a small amount, so it lasts a long time and doesn't feel too expensive. I'm already on my third one, and the Burt's Bees lip oil has become my go-to lip care product.
Compared to other lip balms I've used in the past, which I often lost or forgot about, this one has been a much better investment.

I'd recommend using this to create a glossy lip look by applying it like a top coat over color cosmetic products, rather than for the purpose of lip moisturizing or reducing peeling. And in the beginning, be careful when pressing down, as it can gush out if you press too hard, so apply gently.

1. Doesn't Reduce Peeling Well
I wanted to use this instead of lip balm to reduce the emphasis on peeling when using color lip products, but the peeling reduction didn't work well. I recommend using lip balm separately before using it.
2. Quantity is Too Little
It's not extremely cheap, but the quantity is too little. A tube gets used up very quickly. Of course, this is largely my fault for not checking the quantity beforehand.
3. Moisture is So-So Even with Thin Application
Even with a thin application, it does provide some moisture, so it's not completely without moisturizing properties. But the effectiveness or moisturizing power is not that great.

1. Moisturizing
After applying a tint/lipstick, if your lips feel dry, applying this will make your lips feel more moisturized. If you dislike the heavy balm texture after applying lip products and experience lip dryness, this is recommended.
2. Lip Gloss
This is a suitable product to use when you want a subtle sheen after applying a tint/lipstick without any color change. Especially when you've applied a red lip, coating it with this will create a glossy, wet-look lip.
3. Passion Fruit Fragrance
I love fruit fragrances, so I feel good when I get the passion fruit scent. It's not overpowering, just a subtle, refreshing aroma.
4. Thick Application Provides Moisture
If you apply it thickly and sleep with it on, it maintains moisture well. You can use it to provide moisture over color cosmetic products, or apply it thickly on bare lips if your natural lip color is already pretty.

If you apply it and let it absorb before putting on lipstick, it makes the lipstick look absolutely gorgeous.

When applied, it only looks moisturized on the surface, and I don't really feel like the moisturizing effect is that great.

The fruity floral scent is refreshing, and I feel so good every time I apply it.
When I apply lipstick after it has been absorbed, there's this radiant glow that comes through, and it's so beautiful that I can't stop reapplying it!

The cap tends to break easily. So I leave the broken one at home and use it there, and I bought a new one to carry around with me.

I've only been using Vaseline lip care products (and I really love the Rosebud Salve tin case!), but I saw that Olive Young was having a sale, so I decided to try it out. But it turned out to be so great... It's not a small amount, but I've been applying it generously and using it often, so I'm finishing one tube per month haha. If you apply it thickly before bed and sleep with it on, your lips will become super supple and bouncy!
