• I didn't want to use a thick balm in summer • It's not as slippery as I thought it would be • I don't have a lot of dead skin cells • I bought this because I hate seeing flaky skin before applying makeup • The effects are really good Some reviews say it's not moisturizing enough or doesn't remove dead skin cells well, but I think that's because of winter use. It's great for summer - less thick than a balm and does a decent job of managing dead skin cells. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 18, 2020
It absorbed so well, leaving my skin incredibly moisturized. I was torn between the almond and passion fruit scents, but the fragrance I chose is absolutely divine! I'm a bit disappointed with its ability to remove dead skin cells, though. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 28, 2020
I love oil-based products, so I was thrilled to find this one! The fragrance is absolutely delightful, which made me buy it right away. If you're a fan of fruity scents, I think you'll really enjoy this! While the hydration was better than I expected, it doesn't seem to effectively remove dead skin cells or smooth out the skin's texture. - hd*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 10, 2020
The scent is lovely and it's small, making it perfect as a portable option. I bought it simply because I heard the ingredients were good. Disappointing considering the price... The effects aren't that great either. I'd rather buy Sidmool instead... - lh*************Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesRednessRecommendedMay 31, 2020
Love it! The scent is perfectly fresh and cool. Although it's rich, it's not overly sticky, and the hydration lasts for a good amount of time. That's why I use it up quickly and have a habit of stocking up during sales. Nothing bad, but I think a jar format might be just as good as the squeeze tube. The tube can get messy where it touches your lips, especially if you're wearing lipstick. It also leaves a sticky residue on your hands. - hy*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 1, 2020
The fragrance is absolutely delightful when applied to the lips... a sweet, fruity scent! My lips are extremely dry, and matte lipsticks tend to accentuate dead skin cells. However, when I apply this over a matte lip, it not only reduces the appearance of flakiness but also prevents my lips from feeling tight. It leaves a beautiful, glossy finish. This doesn't seem to function as a lip oil for moisturizing the lips. I applied it generously before bed, but when I woke up in the morning, my lips felt just as dry. It's probably best used as a lip gloss rather than a treatment. Even if you're a fan of hydrated lips, this product allows you to wear matte lipsticks comfortably! - gk*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 22, 2020
The texture is intriguingly ambiguous, somewhere between a lip oil and a lip gloss, which I find quite appealing. It's not as sticky as a typical gloss, nor as slippery as a pure oil! I think this product excels in moisturizing, absorbs well, and has great staying power. Being extremely sensitive to scents, I usually avoid anything with a medicinal smell or even slightly off-putting fragrance. However, this one has a delightful aroma that's a perfect blend of passion fruit and grapefruit, making application a mood-boosting experience! You only need to use a small amount, so it lasts a long time and doesn't feel too expensive. I'm already on my third tube, and I've settled on Burt's Bees lip oil for my lip care routine. When I think about other lip balms I've barely used, lost, or left forgotten in a drawer, I cringe at the wasted money! Apart from one cautionary ingredient due to the fragrance, I didn't find any other downsides to this product. As someone prone to lip peeling and frequent cold sores, I found this product's intense hydration super helpful. I apply a thin layer of lip balm first, then layer this on top for extra protection. - su********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 22, 2020
1. Hydration When your lips feel dry after applying tint or lipstick, this product gives them a moisturized feel. Recommended if you experience lip dryness after applying lip products but dislike heavy balm textures. 2. Lip Glow Perfect for adding a subtle sheen without altering the color of your tint or lipstick. Especially great for creating a glossy, tanghulu-like effect when applied over red lips. 3. Passion Fruit Scent As a fruit fragrance lover, I find the passion fruit scent delightful. It's subtle and refreshingly pleasant. 4. Deep Moisturizing Applying a thick layer before bed keeps lips hydrated overnight. It works well as a moisturizing top coat over color products, or on bare lips if you have naturally pretty lip color. 1. Limited Dead Skin Cell Reduction I hoped it would minimize the appearance of flaky skin when used instead of lip balm under color products, but it didn't work as well as expected. I recommend using a separate lip balm first. 2. Small Quantity The amount is quite small for the price, which isn't particularly cheap. A tube runs out quickly, though I admit I should have checked the quantity beforehand. 3. Average Hydration for Light Application While it does provide some moisture with a thin layer, the hydration efficiency isn't particularly impressive. I recommend using this product primarily to add shine over color products, rather than for lip hydration or reducing the appearance of dead skin cells. Be careful when first using it, as pressing too hard can cause excess product to come out. Start with gentle pressure. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 2, 2020
The refreshing passion fruit scent lifts my mood every time I apply it. When I put on just the right amount and let it absorb before applying lipstick, it creates this beautiful Inner Glow effect that's so pretty, I can't help but keep using it! When applied, it only appears moisturizing on the surface, but I don't particularly feel like it provides good hydration If you apply this before your lipstick, let it absorb, and then put on your lip color, the result is truly, truly gorgeous - gm******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 12, 2019
1. Absorbs faster than a lip balm 2. A little goes a long way, spreading easily 3. Quick absorption leads to a pleasant feel 4. Has a delightfully sweet fruity scent 5. Helps chapped lips heal quickly It's an oil with a great feel, so I'll probably use it up quickly.
