I first tried this because my husband loves hinoki cypress. It's also from a high-end brand, making it perfect for gift-giving - I've received several bottles as presents. The luxurious packaging looks great in the bathroom, and the scent is lovely. I occasionally use it as a body wash too. Le Labo is known for being an expensive brand, so the wicked price tag is the first drawback. Secondly, you need to rub your hands several times to work up a lather, which I find bothersome these days. To be honest, I reach for foaming products like Ai-Kekute more often. I only bring this out when guests are coming or when I want to feel a bit fancy. Rub your hands together vigorously like you're washing them in Paris. - sh*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 27, 2022
The Le Labo scent is truly delightful. It lifts my mood every time I wash my hands. When I apply the hand emulsion as part of the set, it's absolutely perfect. The ingredients are a bit disappointing, and personally, I feel it doesn't lather as well as I'd like. - sh******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 20, 2022
Honestly, this Le Labo hand soap is to die for... Please release a larger size! My hands don't feel dry at all after washing, which is fantastic. It's frequently out of stock... This is seriously frustrating.. That's the only downside!!! - so*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 29, 2022
This review is based on using up an entire bottle I received as a gift. People often choose hand soaps for their fragrance, and this one is truly delightful. What's especially nice is that it's not a perfume but a hand soap, so the hinoki scent gives a really comforting feeling. (I don't usually go for these types of scents in perfumes, but I love it here!) The main drawback is likely the price. Hand soap is something we use multiple times a day, so I'd hesitate to buy it with my own money. Another downside is that it's hard to see how much you've used up. It makes for an excellent gift as well. - de*******Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedAug 13, 2022
I've been using hand wash products instead of regular soap for over a decade now. Back in the day, there weren't as many options as we have now, so I mainly used foreign brands like Method. But nowadays, especially after the pandemic, almost every brand offers a wide range of products at various price points, which makes it fun to try different ones. Le Labo, along with L'Occitane and Aesop, seems to be one of those brands where hand washes and hand creams are frequently exchanged as gifts. They have a great feel and a unique scent, but the price is a bit steep to buy with your own money, which is probably why they make such perfect gifts! I'm currently using one I received as a present, and I love its subtle hinoki fragrance. It's not overpowering, making it ideal for those who enjoy woody, unisex scents. It's not too intense either, so it's suitable for both men and women. The texture is just right - not too slippery, and it leaves your hands feeling fresh and clean. The price seems to be the main drawback. They don't often have sales or discounts, and their offline accessibility is still somewhat limited due to the relatively small number of physical stores. It's a great product to buy online using various points, and it makes for an excellent gift! One thing to note: a full pump dispenses quite a lot of product, so a half pump is usually sufficient for washing your hands. - hy*********Normal SkinRecommendedAug 3, 2022
The fragrance is absolutely divine. The packaging is also quite lovely. The scent lingers beautifully for a long time. I'm not entirely sure about its cleansing effectiveness. To be honest, I'm using this product primarily for its fragrance. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 30, 2022
The fragrance and hydration were absolutely top-notch. It's a perfect gift for those with sensitive skin! While there's not much to complain about, the quantity seems a bit small compared to the price. I can't think of anything else to add. Just apply it right after washing your hands and you're all set! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 19, 2022
The fragrance is delightful. It feels like the most luxurious one! The scent is really wonderful. Yes, that's right, the aroma is exceptional. It doesn't lather well. The pump doesn't work smoothly. As a result, it does last a long time. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 14, 2022
I absolutely love the subtle fragrance that wafts up to my nose when I'm washing my hands. If I had to point out one drawback, it's that the lather isn't particularly rich or abundant. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedJan 20, 2022
The subtle temple fragrance creates a wonderfully calming atmosphere! The small quantity might be a drawback, but the delicate scent is absolutely delightful.
