It holds the style well. It revives the curl, which is great for maintaining permed hair. Be careful when applying, as using too much can make your hair feel stiff and clumpy. Scent: Not bad at all! Texture: While it feels slightly sticky at first, it surprisingly finishes with a refreshing feel. As a curl cream, curl retention should be the top priority, but it doesn't seem to have much effect! However, I find myself applying it out of habit every day.

The volume is satisfying and the price is reasonable. The scent is one I love (it really smells great!). When applied, it doesn't become too stiff, but sets naturally to just the right degree. Among the curl creams I've tried, this might be the best! Since I have short hair, I apply it close to my face, near the ends of my hair, and I keep getting blemishes on my chin area. I'll have to wait until my hair grows a bit longer to use it again. The fragrance is absolutely delightful! All my friends complimented me on how good it smells. What I love most is that it feels so natural and comfortable to apply, just like a spray, without any stiffness. The curl hold is incredibly impressive too - even after being out for 10 hours, my curls were still perfectly intact! It definitely made my lashes more defined and curled - I loved it! When you apply it and scrunch your lashes, you can really feel the curl coming to life. The hair didn't get flat, the scent was pleasant, and it had great staying power. There was a slight feeling of it setting on the hands though. I can't think of any particular downsides. I usually use a competitor's product (the purple one), but I bought this when it was on sale at Olive Young since I needed a curl cream. I like the scent and the texture of this product. I'm not sure if I'm using it correctly, and I'll need to use it more to be certain, but while it's definitely better than using nothing, I couldn't really tell if it was enhancing my curls significantly. It works best when applied to towel-dried hair that's still slightly damp.

If your perm doesn't last as long as expected or loses its shape, it might be because you're not using a curl cream. As someone with a sensitive scalp that gets itchy and irritated easily, I'm usually hesitant to use curl creams or sprays. However, by carefully applying this product to avoid the scalp, I was able to use it without any blemishes! The texture is a light cream, making it very user-friendly. It doesn't harden quickly, so you have plenty of time for styling. I'm also using a spray alongside this cream. The cream is easier for styling, while I use the spray for setting. Check out my review of the spray as well! Beach Tip: After your final styling, apply it as if you're setting your hair in place and let it air dry naturally. The longevity is slightly disappointing. However, I still recommend using it since it's better than products that make your hair stiff and rigid. Double the staying power by using it with a spray! It spreads smoothly without clumping, allowing for a natural curl definition. There's not much to complain about. I appreciate that it's almost fragrance-free. For best results, apply it to slightly damp hair. Instead of separating each strand, use thicker sections for a more beautiful finish.
