As someone who wears makeup almost daily, I find the cleansing effectiveness quite good. But what I love most is how my skin feels after using this. It's like it not only cleanses but also leaves my skin feeling fresh and smooth, as if I've just exfoliated. It's like it removes dead skin cells, leaving my complexion soft and renewed. The texture is quite thick, so if you don't warm it up properly, it doesn't absorb well. Also, I noticed it doesn't completely remove all makeup, especially lip products. It struggles a bit with thorough removal of color cosmetics. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 20, 2019
I'm already on my 5th bottle! Usually, cleansing oils leave a slight slippery feeling after washing, but this product leaves my skin feeling fresh without needing a second cleanse. I love it! The downside is the ingredients... They're not as good as I expected. I'm considering switching to something else once I finish this. However, despite my sensitive skin, I haven't experienced any blemishes from it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 18, 2018
It feels fresh and lightweight. Makeup comes off easily even with wet hands. Spreads well, making it convenient to use. Not too thick, so it doesn't irritate the skin. I didn't notice any improvement in dead skin cells or blackheads. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 3, 2018
First off, I absolutely love how it gives off a refreshing apple scent during the oil massage. Unlike other oil formulations, this one has a rich texture that makes my skin feel extra firm and supple. My previous products tended to strip away too much sebum, causing irritation after cleansing. But with this one, my skin feels wonderfully fresh after washing! I think I've achieved that coveted honey-like skin since using this. It's the best - I'll definitely repurchase! While it doesn't give that perfectly cleansed feeling, requiring an additional round with a cleansing foam, I honestly can't find any real downsides to this product. It would be great to grab this when it's on sale at Olive Young or LOHB's. If you're traveling to Japan, it might be worth picking up a few as well! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 12, 2017
I've been using it for almost six or seven bottles for two years now. It's clearly an oil, but it's so refreshing that you don't even need a face wash after rinsing it off. It washes off really well. It's hard to wait for the sale period. There's really nothing I'm unhappy about. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 18, 2017
I've been using it for almost 5 years Compared to other cleansing oils, it doesn't feel sticky It rinses off so refreshingly that I don't even need a cleansing foam It doesn't sting my eyes and doesn't leave an oily residue I've tried switching to other products several times, but I always end up coming back to this one. It's the best product. I don't want to use it because I'm worried about the Japanese radiation, but I haven't found anything else that I like as much. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 23, 2017
Due to my dehydration-prone sensitive skin, I frequently experience sebum-related acne covering my face. It's not inflammatory, just bumpy. Wearing makeup used to be stressful, but there was no redness after removing it. Recently, my face broke out again, and I needed to exfoliate and moisturize. I heard chemical exfoliants were good, so I bought a cleansing oil with a light apple scent. I liked that it didn't feel heavy and rinsed off cleanly without leaving an oily residue. As someone with dehydration-prone skin, I had been hesitant to use oil products, but the chemical exfoliation made my skin texture (in areas without severe acne) feel more refined. As winter is ending, my skin seems relatively less dry than a few days ago. In the early stages of use, the stubborn whiteheads on my chin after puberty have also started to diminish slightly (confirmed by pressing the lower lip skin with my tongue). Along with the chemical exfoliation, I've been diligent about applying sunscreen and following a proper skincare routine. Using the cleansing oil for a week or two didn't cause any major issues. But I've been using it for more than two weeks without much thought, and the non-inflammatory acne hasn't been flaring up as much. However, since I have a lot of blackheads, I would sometimes squeeze and pick at them, and occasionally an inflamed pimple would come up. As a sensitive skin type using a chemical exfoliant, I should have limited the usage to once or twice a week, but I ended up using it habitually almost every day, which was foolish of me. On top of the blackheads, I've now developed inflammatory acne, so I have to heavily conceal it with a concealer when I apply makeup. I was overzealously rolling on the areas with blackheads, hoping the exfoliation would help, but that just led to more redness and inflamed pimples and whiteheads popping up. (After cleansing, my acne-prone areas would feel irritated, but I didn't have any itching or stinging sensations - I realize now it was my own fault for using the oil too frequently.) I didn't think much of it until last night, but seeing about 5 new blemishes today made me realize something was wrong. I feel like I've been overly aggravating my blackheads, and my skin has been unnecessarily flaring up, as it often does when I try to find the root cause. While it's just a guess, the frequent use of the cleansing oil is likely the culprit for the current inflammatory acne, so I'll need to cut back on using it. The blackheads themselves didn't seem to be spreading, which is good. The areas that didn't have blackheads before actually seem to have improved. The issue is that the acne has significantly worsened in the specific areas where I had blackheads before - the nasolabial folds, front of the cheeks, left forehead, and chin. It doesn't seem to be an issue with leftover oil residue from using the bubble maker foam cleanser. When I wake up, the sensitive areas that were calmed down seem to flare up again. The redness and irritation I see in the mirror right after using the oil is just heartbreaking. Even though the blackheads on my nose were a habit from squeezing them as a child, and that skin is very delicate, the acne there didn't get worse. I just avoided touching it, and it settled down in a couple of days. I think using the cleansing oil just once or twice a week would be better. Even though my skin gets very dry after cleansing, and I have to quickly moisturize with multiple toners, the rough texture didn't prevent my makeup from applying well. I bought the oil hoping it would help smooth out the bumps, but it seems I'll have to suffer through a few more days of the inflammatory acne. The skin on my forehead and between my brows does look more refined and glowy when I apply a hydrating essence, so there are some positive effects. But the worsened acne is just too distressing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 5, 2017
It seems good because it has an apple scent - it's refreshing! And I bought it on sale at Olive Young for around 9,800 won, so it was inexpensive! It's just so-so, just so-so, so-so. But the ingredients are not great...ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJan 17, 2017
It feels light, refreshing, and wipes off easily. The apple scent is pleasant. I can't really find any major downsides. The price is a bit high, which is the only flaw. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 10, 2017
I plan to repurchase. I was hesitant about Japanese cosmetics due to radiation concerns, but this product seems to be really well-made. After using this oil, I only need to exfoliate once a month (even after drinking and not removing my makeup the next day haha). The product is really gentle and refreshing. The texture is watery, so if you apply too much, it can drip down, but that also means it has low oil content, which is great. You might think that since it's an oil, it wouldn't remove makeup or cleanse pores well, but it actually removes makeup really well and can take care of blackheads and whiteheads! Just apply an appropriate amount to your face and spend some time gently rolling it over problem areas, and all the gunk will come out - your blackheads will become much lighter too. And even after long rolling, your skin won't feel tight at all! It's an oil but it's also very moisturizing, it's really a great product. Normally, when you use an oil and then rinse with water, your skin turns white. But this product doesn't do that, so you need to be more careful with the second cleansing step. Even if it doesn't turn white after rinsing with water, you should still roll it a few more times and rinse thoroughly with water, then apply a foam cleanser... Oh, and if you use this product along with a scrub or peeling gel, your face will hurt. It seems like this product dissolves the stratum corneum a bit too much.
