As someone who's struggled with seborrheic dermatitis and couldn't use regular shampoos or even menthol-based scalp care products, I was a bit of a nomad in the haircare world. But then I found this duo - the Morning and Night versions - and I kid you not, I've gone through about 30 bottles! There's honestly nothing better out there. Itchy scalp? What's that? It's completely gone. While you can use Morning in the AM and Night in the PM, I got lazy and mixed 4 pumps of Night with 1-2 pumps of Morning. My scalp never itches, and I haven't seen dandruff in ages. (Sometimes when I have to use a different shampoo while traveling, my scalp immediately gets itchy and flaky. My boyfriend is always amazed when he sees the rare dandruff flake because it's so unusual now!) There are no downsides... It's even better when you can get it on a 4+1 deal. It's the best. Thank you so much for creating this product... I've tried using just Night or just Morning to find the right balance. Using only Night made my scalp itchy (Morning has soothing ingredients), while using only Morning left my scalp slightly oily by afternoon (Night has better cleansing power). So make sure to use them together for the best results! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedJun 17, 2022
The fragrance is lovely. The formula is quite thin, but it lathers up nicely. It leaves my hair so slippery that I don't need to use conditioner or treatment, but I'm not sure if that's actually a good thing. - yu******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 24, 2022
It's quite soft and moisturizing. My hair feels smooth and manageable even without using conditioner, which is great. Unfortunately, it doesn't provide enough hydration for my extremely dry scalp. I'll need to use something additional for my scalp. - vg****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinFeb 18, 2021
I decided to try this shampoo because I heard it had good ingredients. Looking at the composition on the Hwahae app, it really does have excellent ingredients. It's a great shampoo for those with dry hair. My hair texture has improved significantly, and my scalp feels incredibly hydrated. I wouldn't recommend this to people like me with sensitive scalps, oily scalps, and dry hair. It caused painful, inflamed blemishes on my scalp and neck. I didn't realize it was because of this shampoo and kept using it. Suspecting it might be the shampoo, I stopped using it and went to a dermatologist. They told me to discontinue the shampoo and prescribed medication for seborrheic dermatitis. It took over two weeks of medication to fully recover. While the ingredients analyzed by Hwahae are good, it seems some components were too strong for me. It's really oily. It's extremely greasy, and while it has a rosemary scent, the fragrance doesn't last at all. Once you rinse the shampoo out, that's the end of it. - gr*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 15, 2020
The scent is lovely and it lathers well. I haven't used it for long, but I'm enjoying it so far. The product comes in two separate parts, but I'm not sure if that really makes a significant difference. - ly*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 14, 2020
There's nothing good to say... It just doesn't work for me. Sigh... After using this, my scalp broke out in a massive blemish explosion. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedNov 25, 2020
I was torn between buying the morning shampoo or the night shampoo, but then I thought, 'Oh, what the heck!' and got both! The scent is refreshingly pleasant, and it seems perfect for a quick wash before heading out. Despite having a dry scalp, I found the night shampoo to be more suitable for me. With the morning shampoo, no matter how much I use, it somehow feels less cleansing compared to the night version. - cj*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 29, 2020
I found this on Hwahae, checked the ingredients, and liked what I saw. The price-to-quality ratio was excellent, so I decided to purchase it. It lathers well and leaves my hair soft even without conditioner, which is great. I bought it along with the night version, and they smell the same. There's only a slight difference in ingredients, so I can barely tell them apart. The scent is a bit too strong for my liking. There's hardly any difference between the night and morning versions. It would be nice if they had a separate formula for oily hair types. Tip: Wash with lukewarm water and dry with cool air for best results. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 18, 2020
No harmful ingredients, and it lathers well with just two pumps. The fragrant herbal scent is lovely too. I'll definitely keep using this! The downside is that while there are rosemary and baby powder scents available, the baby powder version contains many potential allergens. Those with sensitive skin should probably avoid it. It's really hard to find shampoos with genuine aromatherapy oils and no allergy-triggering ingredients, which is why I chose this one for its lack of blemish-causing components. If they could remove the rosemary oil from the Morning Rosemary shampoo, it would be perfect for worry-free use. - du********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 12, 2020
As a shampoo nomad, I think I've finally found my holy grail product. It lathers up beautifully, and even with my super long hair that reaches down to my bottom, it gives a treatment-like effect without needing a separate conditioner. What's more, despite having extremely sensitive skin on my face, body, and scalp, I haven't experienced any blemishes or dead skin cells. I'm absolutely in love with it! I had to wait for a while due to restocking delays, but I bought it as soon as it was back in stock! The only downside is the longevity of the scent. The rosemary fragrance is only noticeable during shampooing and disappears when drying. Still, I'm satisfied because the ingredients are so gentle, even if the scent doesn't last long. Using it with a shampoo brush creates even more lather and gives a more refreshing cleansing experience.
