As expected, this sunscreen, along with Anessa from the same brand, truly deserves its title as the world's #1 Japanese sunscreen. Don't be fooled by other viral products - this is the one you should go for when it comes to sun protection. Its absorption and sun-blocking power are legendary. (In external tests, while Korean cosmetics scored 92% in sun protection, this one hit 99%!) What's even more impressive is that it leaves no white cast and doesn't feel greasy at all. It's almost too good to be true.

There's no eye irritation, skin tingling, or irritation. After some time, the initial powdery finish gives way to a subtle glow as oils come through. There's some white residue in the double eyelid crease and around the nose, but no pilling or emphasis on dead skin cells.

There's some clumping on the eyebrows, like a paste, which I wiped off. It has a powdery finish, which explains why it needs shaking. It's not a glowy product - more like you've applied powder.

Three hours after application, there's some oil breakthrough and glow, but also a feeling of deep dryness. I immediately want to spray on some mist and wash my face. It might be better to wash and reapply. While I don't expect hydration or color correction from a sunscreen, it feels different from when I first applied it.

As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I've struggled with extreme dryness around my mouth and nose area since my early 30s. I need to constantly apply lip balm to combat the dryness. I didn't wear makeup daily in my youth and started using sunscreen late, in my mid-20s. I prefer all-in-one skincare products. In my younger years, I only used Johnson's Baby Lotion. In my 30s, I tried using separate products, then switched back to just Madecassoside cream. When the deep dryness became severe, a friend suggested using toner, ampoule, essence, and cream. I've tried various products and settled on a few, while deciding against others.

I avoid AHC due to eye irritation. I've tried and currently use sunscreens from Dalba, Mediheal, LLO L, Hera, Innisfree, The SAEM, Dr.G, Joseon Beauty, Dongkook Madecassoside, Nivea, and others I can't recall.

This is my first time using Shiseido sunscreen. I'll skip the detailed explanation of its features like water, sweat, and heat resistance - that's all in the product description. Honestly, once I find a sunscreen that works for me, I don't delve too deeply into the technical aspects since most are quite similar and good.

Remember to shake before use! It reminds me of Hera sunscreen with its rattling beads inside.

The color is a light apricot, almost white. The scent is fresh and floral - typical of women's cosmetics. The texture is thin but slightly viscous, like an emulsion. It applies smoothly and spreads easily, covering a large area with a small amount. I applied it three times in similar amounts all over my face. It absorbs quickly without looking cakey or greasy. Instead, it leaves a dry, powdery finish.

There's a slight brightening effect, but not an overwhelming white cast. I like it - I could go out with just this and lip color!

Rather than being a thick cream, it has a soft emulsion texture that applies smoothly. Although it's white, it doesn't provide a tone-up effect, and there was hardly any white cast.

It doesn't absorb as quickly or feel as light on the skin as other sun serums or lightweight sunscreens, but it absorbs adequately. The scent is close to unscented with a subtle fragrance.

Ingredients:
I didn't find the ingredients particularly impressive. While using it, I didn't experience any blemishes or feel any irritation, but for those with super sensitive skin, I recommend checking the full ingredient list and definitely doing a patch test before purchasing.
