So I bought this calendula one, and I'm pleased that the cooling sensation is much milder.
ConsThere's a lot of excess powder that flies out every time I open the ziplock bag. Being new to modeling masks, I find it challenging to apply evenly. I wish the complimentary mixing bowl was larger and made of softer rubber material. The ziplock bag packaging is inconvenient; products in tubs are much easier to use. Most importantly, it seems to have almost no hydrating or soothing effects. There's no difference before and after use, and I don't see any improvements. Personally, I find wash-off masks more suitable and effective for my skin.

ConsThe only downside is that it has more excess powder compared to other brands

The gratis ampoule that comes with it is also moisturizing, making it great to use together.
ConsThere seems to be some unavoidable excess powder. Other than that, nothing particularly special about it.

The scent is like vitamins or flowers. Compared to the Soothing Herb, it feels firmer even when you add more water, but it does tend to drip a bit.
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that there's a lot of excess powder... But I guess that's unavoidable with modeling masks, so I'm using it with that in mind!
TipAdding just a little more water seems to make my skin feel more hydrated! It's inconvenient to use straight from the packet, so I've been storing about a month's worth in a 1.41L Daiso food container, which works pretty well.

Especially in summer or after exercising, I barely sweat on my face, turning the redness into a muddy complexion. That's why it's crucial to use skincare that helps with redness control. One day, I heard modeling masks were good for redness, so I bought one. Oh my, it was a game-changer! The heat sensitivity dropped significantly, and I could finally see my original fair skin tone (shade 13). I was so happy! Applying the mask before bed and seeing my skin instantly brighten and glow as I removed it made me think, 'Wow, Lindsay is the best!' Please don't discontinue this product! I wake up in the morning, look in the mirror, and marvel at my brightened complexion. I recommend the tea tree version for summer, while the calendula offers gentle hydration, perfect for winter. Although the effect doesn't last all day - the heat and redness return after I wake up and start moving around - it's amazing how it completely removes the heat after my evening workout. I really hope they don't discontinue this product!
ConsThe powder packaging with a zipper causes significant excess powder to fly out every time you close it. It's best to transfer some product to a separate container for use.

The cooling effect is mild, making it ideal for use from autumn through winter.
ConsThere's significant excess powder. While it claims to soothe and moisturize with calendula, the moisturizing effect is not very noticeable. The cooling sensation is much milder compared to tea tree products.

After using the mask, my skin feels soft and moisturized!
ConsThere's a bit of excess powder that's probably unavoidable, but other than that, no complaints.

I'm allergic to aloe, which makes it difficult to reduce inflammation. Overall, I have very dry skin with combination dehydrated skin in the T-zone, and atopic, sensitive skin prone to redness and enlarged pores. Quick summary! ❣️ Price 5/5 ❣️ Application + Mixing 4.5/5 ❣️ Hydration 4.5/5 ❣️ Soothing 5/5 ❣️ Cooling 4/5 I've tried all of Lindsay's modeling masks except for the Herb Soothing one (due to allergies). In terms of cooling effect: Cooling Balm > Tea Tree > Calendula (others are similar) While Calendula is less cooling than the first two, it's still much better than other brands! (This is why I keep coming back to Lindsay...) The mask contains yellow bits, possibly calendula leaves. It mixes well with less grittiness compared to other Lindsay products. Surprisingly, it reduces redness and doesn't sting even on broken skin. Some other brands' products can be itchy, but this one is just perfect for me. Before applying the modeling mask, I layer on products I want to be absorbed (like moisturizers or sleeping packs). This mask helps everything absorb well and locks in hydration. However, as I have very dry skin, I still need several steps of aftercare. The price point is excellent, as expected from Lindsay. (It's rare to find a product that's both effective and affordable at around 10,000 won per kilo.) Some consider the cheap-looking packaging a downside, but I see it as a plus. It's great value for money, and I'd be skeptical of the ingredients if it were any cheaper. As a modeling mask newbie, I found the packaging bowl very useful. It's perfect for travel or when my skin needs extra care due to unfamiliar water or lack of proper skincare routine during business trips. I can use it without worry and dispose of it easily.
ConsCommon drawbacks of Lindsay products: - Severe powder dispersion - Inconvenient ziplock-style packaging - Edges peel off messily even with thick application [Mixing with toner, ampoules, or other essences helps significantly] [While this improves the situation, there's still more residue compared to other brands' masks]
Tip- When using Lindsay modeling masks, mix in slightly oily products to minimize residue. - Calendula has an average cooling effect among Lindsay products. Mix with a cooling ampoule or cold water for enhanced cooling. - Applying a generous layer of moisturizer, regenerating ampoule, or sleeping pack before the modeling mask improves absorption and leaves skin smoother.

With its subtle floral scent and incredible hydration, I used it well all winter long. Those who enjoy the cooling sensation of tea tree might not be satisfied, but if you love moisture, you'll likely enjoy this.
ConsExcess powder. Powder gets stuck in the ziplock bag. Eventually, the bag doesn't close properly. Hygiene concerns.

In my case, natural ingredients often cause blemishes, so I opted for calendula - one of the few natural ingredients that doesn't irritate my skin. I'm happy to report no breakouts! When I use a hydrating ampoule before applying this mask, I feel like my skin is drinking up all the moisture. Highly recommended!
ConsThe main issue is probably the excess powder. When using the provided container, powder flies everywhere. I ended up buying a large container with a handle from a discount store to use it more effectively.
