I tried the Calendula product and found it to be gentle with a delightful scent. The hydration wasn't overwhelming. There wasn't anything particularly disappointing about it; it was quite satisfactory. I tested the smaller size with the intention of purchasing the larger volume if I liked it. - sk**********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 4, 2025
It adheres well to the skin, and I feel it has a great soothing effect after use. I used up the whole pack and enjoyed it. I'll definitely repurchase when it's on sale! I liked that it didn't cause any blemishes. However, it's a bit inconvenient that you need tools and have to adjust the water concentration. Despite that, it was still decent to use. I'm writing this review under the modeling pack cup option because that's the only choice available, but I actually bought the large pack with a bigger quantity. I found it convenient to use when I transferred it to a glass airtight container, which made it easy to do masks frequently. I recommend storing it in an airtight container with an easy-to-open lid for regular use! - wn******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 22, 2025
I first tried a single-use pack from Olive Young and loved it so much that I bought the full-size version through Hwahae! It's fantastic for soothing my skin and providing deep hydration! I used to mainly use sheet masks, but nothing beats a modeling mask, it seems. While the prep and cleanup process can be a bit of a hassle, it's the gentlest option and works wonders for my skin, so I'll definitely keep using it regularly. The before and after process is a bit... well, it's admittedly tedious and inconvenient, but I'll put up with it for the sake of my skin. The reviewer emphasizes the effectiveness of the modeling mask compared to sheet masks, highlighting its soothing and hydrating properties. They acknowledge the inconvenience of the application process but feel the benefits outweigh this drawback. The overall tone is very positive, with the user planning to continue using the product despite the minor inconvenience. - ji*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 2, 2025
It feels moisturizing. I bought it because of the good ingredients, but I think the Soon Jung line suits me well. It feels moisturizing, but the tea tree one seems less hydrating yet doesn't cause any issues. This one feels like it's sliding around and pilling. - ho*******Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 20, 2025
I used to buy the 1kg size of tea tree, but this time I went for calendula. It's also great for soothing the skin, and when mixed with cold water, it feels incredibly refreshing! Personally, I think it's an amazing value for a modeling mask. I noticed it helped reduce some of my small blemishes, which was a nice bonus! There's nothing particularly bad to mention! If you apply a thin layer around the edges, you might find a bit of residue on your face after peeling it off. But this comes off easily if you gently wipe with a cotton pad soaked in toner. - sc********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessApr 18, 2025
As someone with super sensitive skin, I found tea tree masks too intense with their cooling effect. So I bought this calendula one, and I'm pleased that the cooling sensation is much milder. There's a lot of excess powder that flies out every time I open the ziplock bag. Being new to modeling masks, I find it challenging to apply evenly. I wish the complimentary mixing bowl was larger and made of softer rubber material. The ziplock bag packaging is inconvenient; products in tubs are much easier to use. Most importantly, it seems to have almost no hydrating or soothing effects. There's no difference before and after use, and I don't see any improvements. Personally, I find wash-off masks more suitable and effective for my skin. - ji*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 1, 2025
I tried this one too. It's not too cooling, so it's suitable for use in non-summer seasons. I haven't experienced any major blemishes with it, and it's pretty decent overall. It feels milder compared to other types, which makes it quite versatile. However, I don't recall this one going on sale very often... - al*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedApr 1, 2025
It's fantastic for mixing with toner when my skin needs soothing. I love how it keeps my skin so hydrated! The consistency changes depending on the water temperature, so make sure to use cold water when mixing. - su********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 1, 2025
Unlike tea tree products that can be a bit harsh, this one is gentle and doesn't irritate my skin, which I really appreciate The only downside is that it has more excess powder compared to other brands - ny***Normal SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 6, 2025
You can really feel the hydration and soothing effects. The gratis ampoule that comes with it is also moisturizing, making it great to use together. There seems to be some unavoidable excess powder. Other than that, nothing particularly special about it.
