It dissolves well in water. I used to use the original Hwahae product for a long time, but out of curiosity I tried another mildly acidic cleansing foam, but the other product didn't dissolve well in the palm of my hand, so it was inconvenient to use. So I went back to Hwahae... It's mildly acidic, but it dissolves well in the hand and creates a decent amount of foam quickly. Of course, the lack of facial irritation is a given. I use it in the morning and in the evening, after first wiping with a cleansing water, I use it as a secondary cleansing product.
