I trust its sun protection power. The scent is significantly milder compared to the Anessa sunscreen with blue lettering (which has an overwhelmingly strong fragrance that makes me nauseous every time I apply it). It has a more hydrating finish than the milky type. It causes some eye irritation. The stinging in the eyes lasts for about two to three hours after application. Inevitably, it does get a bit oily as time passes. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinJul 8, 2022
The strongest advantage is its powerful sun protection. It's said to be resistant to sweat and water, making it perfect for summer use. Being a gel, it feels less rich than typical sunscreens. While it's on the pricier side among high SPF products, it's still a decent value considering its availability. Like Kose sunscreens, this product has zero white cast. It's nearly transparent, so I highly recommend it for those who hate white cast! I haven't experienced any major blemishes. Though the ingredients aren't the best, I bought it mainly for sun protection this summer, and I'm quite satisfied. There are many great domestic products nowadays, so I don't worry much about choosing sunscreens. The catch is that their protection isn't as strong as Japanese products. I hope domestic products continue to improve! Although it's a gel, it does feel a bit rich after a few hours. Still, it's quite good overall and I would repurchase. There were reviews mentioning a tingling sensation when applying, and it's true. There is a slight tingling feeling. While this product doesn't have any major pros or cons, if I had to choose one reason to use it, it would be for its sun protection. - Hwahae UserOily SkinMay 21, 2022
I chose this product because it doesn't leave a white cast, and it doesn't irritate my eyes. I really like how well it absorbs into my oily skin. While it's natural for a gel-type product to have some richness, it feels a bit sticky during the summer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 5, 2021
I didn't experience any eye irritation, though I applied it before mask-wearing became common, so I'm not sure how it performs under a mask. Shiseido's trusted sun protection didn't let me down - my face didn't heat up from sun exposure. For combination dehydrated skin that doesn't suit oily shine, even when applied in spring, it felt like it left an oily finish. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSep 26, 2021
It absorbs well and I like that it doesn't leave an excessive white cast. The scent wasn't particularly pleasant. After a few hours of wear, it starts to feel a bit rich on the skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinSep 7, 2021
This formula is perfect for fall and winter. It's moisturizing and absorbs well without any pilling. The scent isn't great, unfortunately. Also, it's too rich, leaving my skin feeling uncomfortably greasy. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 19, 2021
It's not sticky at all. After applying, your hands don't feel greasy or uncomfortable. It can leave a slightly oily sheen. If you have oily skin, you might want to skip this one. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSep 10, 2020
It absorbs well and feels hydrating, so it creates a great base for makeup. It's excellent for sun protection, and I didn't notice any white cast. The scent is overwhelmingly strong. With masks being a necessity these days, it's quite off-putting. When you apply this product, the distinctive fragrance lingers all day. It leaves a greasy finish that accentuates pores, so powder is a must. It also causes eye irritation. This would be great to use in winter. If you're planning to use it in summer, I recommend reducing your skincare routine by one step! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 20, 2020
I bought this because it seemed like such a famous product. When I first applied it and put on makeup, it absorbed really well! Later, as time passed, it became extremely rich and felt like oil was building up. Especially around my chin area, where I tend to get oily, it occasionally made my skin feel itchy. If you're having issues applying it to your face, try using it on your body instead! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 15, 2020
It absorbs smoothly and feels nice on the skin. When you apply powder after this, it adheres well. If you have oily skin, you might find it too rich, which could lead to shine or makeup breakdown.
