Review of the sample I received gratis. I applied it before makeup. Pros: - Pilling: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ No pilling issues. It doesn't enhance makeup adherence, but it's satisfactory. - Blemishes: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Doesn't cause any blemishes. - White cast: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Minimal white cast. I prefer products without it, so this is good. Cons: - Scent: ⭐️⭐️ The fragrance is strong. Smells a bit like alcohol mixed with cosmetics. - Repurchase intention: ⭐️ There aren't enough benefits to warrant repurchasing, but there are drawbacks..? - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 17, 2022
This product absorbs beautifully and doesn't feel sticky after application. It gives the impression of improving skin texture once applied. A great advantage is its effective sun protection! While some report eye irritation, I haven't experienced that after application. However, when applying, there's a sharp scent and alcohol smell that makes me wince. It's disappointing that the ingredients aren't particularly high-quality, and it being a Japanese product is worth noting. This is a product you can apply well without any special tricks. Just remember to avoid the eye area when applying! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 30, 2020
While the ingredients may not be the best, the most important function of sunscreen is UV protection. So, as long as it protects well (unless you have special or sensitive skin), I generally buy and use it. ✅ No white cast, transparent ✅ Perfect match with foundation It finishes with just the right amount of moisture and is transparent without white cast, making it ideal for applying foundation or cushion on top. ✅ A lightweight sunscreen that fulfills its basic role I think it's hard to find a sunscreen with such great value for money like Anessa! I buy it every summer and I'm extremely satisfied with its texture, price, longevity, and protection. It doesn't burn even in direct sunlight! ✅ Quick absorption, comfortable to apply on face and body It's really convenient because it absorbs quickly, making it easy to apply on the neck or arms without feeling sticky. ✅ In my case, it causes fewer blackheads or skin bumps compared to other sunscreens While it's more moisturizing compared to Anessa Milk Sunscreen, this product itself doesn't provide extraordinary hydration. If your skincare routine is inadequate, you may feel tightness around your cheekbones or eyes over time, so proper skincare is necessary. Also, some people might dislike the alcohol scent. I'm eagerly waiting for a domestic sunscreen that surpasses Anessa to be released as soon as possible! Since it's a transparent formula, wearing this alone on bare skin looks too natural. So I use this product as a pre-foundation step when applying makeup. When going out without foundation, I use Anessa Milk or La Roche-Posay Tinted Sunscreen. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2020
It absorbs well and doesn't interfere with makeup application, which is great If you're sensitive to alcohol scents, you might want to skip this one - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 29, 2020
This is my go-to sunscreen. It acts like a plump, hydrating base before applying makeup. For those with oily skin, it might feel a bit rich in summer. While it's not the cheapest option, you get a generous amount that lasts quite a while. There's a slight alcohol scent. I'm usually sensitive to alcohol, but surprisingly, it didn't bother me much - perhaps there's only a small amount. However, it does sting if it gets in your eyes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 18, 2019
I got this recommended by a staff member at Olive Young when I asked for something lightweight (before all this craziness started...). It's truly light and wonderful! No white cast, absorbs well, and even though my eyes are on the sensitive side, there's no stinging at all! The shininess... It's shiny right when you apply it, and it gets progressively shinier over time. I don't just dislike shininess, I absolutely detest it. Right now, I'm using it with powder or oil blotting papers to control the oiliness, but once it's finished, I'll probably look for something else. There's also an alcohol scent, so those sensitive to fragrances might want to avoid this. I'm using powder after application to control the shininess a bit. I haven't tried it myself, but I've heard latex sponges are good at controlling oiliness too, so that might be worth considering. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSep 14, 2019
Compared to other sunscreens, it seems to leave less of a white cast on the skin Since it contains alcohol, there's a noticeable alcohol scent - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 24, 2019
1. Absorbs well It applies smoothly and moisturizes without pilling, absorbing like an emulsion. The absorption is really great. 2. Evens skin tone It brightens the complexion very naturally, making it perfect for quick errands when you want a subtle glow. 3. Quantity The generous amount allows for liberal application not just on the face, but also on the neck, arms, and legs without holding back! 1. Scent As those who've tried this product know, it has a strong alcohol scent. Not recommended for those sensitive to fragrances. 2. Potentially irritating ingredients Unfortunately, the ingredients aren't the best, so it's not recommended for those with super sensitive skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 11, 2019
I liked that it could cover my entire face with just the right amount of product. The strong alcohol scent and slightly sticky feeling were a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 12, 2019
It doesn't leave a white cast and absorbs nicely like an emulsion The scent was a bit disappointing. When I squeezed it onto my hand, it had a smell similar to alcohol, which was unfortunate
