My lips can't go without lip balm, but this one feels fine on its own - not too dry or overly greasy. It's not as watery as your typical water tint, but it has a nice subtle moisture. The staining effect isn't a fluorescent pink, but given its pink-red base, there's inevitably a pink undertone. Still, it's perfect for a fresh spring look! The size is just right, and it has the familiar brush applicator we're used to, which makes it easy to apply.
ConsDespite being called a 'tattoo tint', it doesn't quite live up to that name. I experienced some transfer, unfortunately. The staying power was decent though.
TipWhen applied lightly, it appears more pink-red, but layering brings out more of the red tones. Since it's a tattoo tint, be careful as it sets - apply with that in mind!

I like dry lips, and this is perfect - not too loose, but adheres well.
ConsThere's nothing to complain about, honestly!
TipAfter applying, press your lips gently with a tissue to prevent it from transferring elsewhere.

It's a fresh, zesty red shade. No matter how many tints I try, I always come back to Peripera! I've been carrying this one around constantly lately. It's on the moisturizing side for a tint, so the staying power is great, and it brightens up your face, making it perfect for wearing even on bare skin. Since my lips tend to be a bit dry, on days when I want to put extra effort into my makeup, I apply this and then dab a light, hydrating lip product just along my lip line and gently pat it in. This keeps the lip line looking moisturized while the inner part of the lips stays naturally hydrated without being too shiny. Personally, I like to apply it all over my upper lip to define the shape, and then focus on the inner part and center of my lower lip, blending it out for a gradient effect. This creates a clean, polished look that's neither outdated nor over-the-top. The color seems like it would suit most people, regardless of cool or warm undertones. However, it might look a bit garish on very dark skin tones.
ConsFor those with very dry lips, it's probably best to avoid this as it's likely to create patchy, uneven staining as time goes on. Also, being a moisturizing tint, it does tend to transfer quite a bit right after application and in the initial stages of wear.
TipIn the photo, I've lightly applied MAC's Forever Darling just along the lip line.

The application feels like a mix between a water tint and a gel tint. The color payoff is absolutely stunning - it's just so, so beautiful! It leaves a velvety finish. Doesn't emphasize dead skin cells or cause dryness. The staining happens fairly quickly (but you still have enough time to blend). It has a green grape candy scent (which I personally like, but it may vary for others). If applied in the morning, you might need to reapply around lunchtime. It doesn't stay on forever (traces remain by lunch). The amount is easy to control.
ConsIt's disappointing that it doesn't stay completely transfer-proof as advertised. For about 20-30 minutes after application, it still leaves slight marks when pressed against the back of your hand. I use a black mask, so it's hard to tell if it transfers onto the mask, but given that it marks my hand a bit, it likely transfers to masks too. Also, it seems weak against water - it definitely transfers after your lips get wet.
