It finishes with a refreshing feel. When blemishes appear, I apply this essence and follow up with a tea tree or cica mask, which really helps calm my skin! It's great for summer use without any stickiness, and I can layer it under other essences without any issues. Unless it's on sale, the price is quite steep, making it a bit daunting to purchase regularly. - sy*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 15, 2022
I have atopic, sensitive, and extremely dry skin. Even in the height of summer, I feel dry, and my sensitive skin reacts easily to changes in temperature and humidity. The product has a green, viscous texture. I expected some stickiness since it's not a water-based formula, but surprisingly, it's not sticky at all. It absorbs immediately upon application, leaving a fresh finish. I have dry skin with blemishes on my forehead and chin, so I've been using this product only on these two areas. While it doesn't provide dramatic soothing effects, I appreciate that it offers both calming and hydration benefits simultaneously. It's a fairly average product, not particularly outstanding in terms of soothing or hydration effects. - ls*******Combination SkinInner DrynessRecommendedMar 7, 2022
Holy grail alert! I've already gone through more than three bottles of this stuff. I was already a fan of Dongkook Pharmaceutical's Madeca21 line, so when I heard they came out with an ampoule, I had to try it. Not only does it soothe my skin, but it also reduces that tight feeling. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, my T-zone was always oily, but since using this, that's completely gone. It seems to have balanced my oil and moisture levels, improving my overall complexion. My current skincare routine includes this product along with Cynic's The Simple Toner and Emulsion. I use them in this order: toner -> Madeca ampoule -> emulsion, and it works wonders! The size, oh the size! Please, I'm begging for a larger bottle. Right now it's 50ml, but I'd love 100ml, or if I'm being greedy, even 200ml! I'd buy it even if it were more expensive, just please give us a bigger size option... It pairs really well with Cynic's The Simple line! - ye*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsOct 11, 2021
This is great to use when you're unsure about your skin condition or what to apply from your vanity! It helps with both hydration and soothing. The texture isn't quite watery, but it does flow smoothly. +(11/1/2021 Monday / Edited from 3 to 4 stars) The more I use it, the better I get at adjusting the amount for my skin. As my skin adapts to the ampoule, I find that just applying it provides adequate hydration and sometimes leaves my skin feeling firm. It's becoming a reliable go-to product. This fall, I've mostly been using just this, and I rarely felt like my skin was severely lacking moisture. The more I think about it, the more I like it! If I can't find a good new product, I'll probably return to the Tecasol Capsule in Ampoule. It's reassuring that I haven't had any adverse reactions, and the hydration seems decent. I'm considering letting my friend with atopic dermatitis try it before I finish mine! I applied this to some persistent blemishes that have been recurring for months due to hormonal changes, but I didn't see much soothing effect... I bought this because the toner and cream from the same line worked well for me, but this was disappointing. +(11/1/2021) Adding this after almost finishing a bottle. This ampoule seems to be more like a spot treatment serum that needs consistent application, rather than an immediate soothing product like some cica creams. The formula contains small capsules, so make sure to gently massage it in for better absorption! - id****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 29, 2021
It's moisturizing yet lightweight. This is all you need for summer! The granules are a bit bothersome. I'm not the type to rub a lot, so it's annoying to have to massage it in when some particles don't dissolve well. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 21, 2021
It's incredibly affordable and a great value when purchased during a sale It contains capsules that don't break easily, and it feels a bit rich on the skin - gr******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 17, 2021
If you're looking for a lightweight, gentle centella ampoule without any stickiness for the peak of summer, this is it! I've been using Dongkook Pharmaceutical's Madeca Cream and ampoule for years. That's how much of a game-changer centella was for me. Since it's summer, I thought my usual Madeca ampoule might be a bit heavy, so I switched to this one. But it's too watery, and I'm not satisfied. It lacks that characteristic thickness of an ampoule. I just use it as the first booster after cleansing. The previous ampoule I used was enough on its own to complete my skincare routine, and I was thoroughly satisfied with it. I'm planning to finish this quickly and go back to my old product! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 14, 2021
First off, the ingredients are really gentle. The scent is fresh and subtle. The dropper format makes it hygienic. It has a more viscous texture than a toner... It's transparent and mild. Great for light application. I thought it would have a soothing effect, but... It didn't really work for my skin. Also, this ampoule is so lightweight that even now (early summer) it feels almost too light. Just something to keep in mind. After applying this, I follow up with a light moisturizer. I find it's better to store the moisturizer in the fridge. - go*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJun 9, 2021
It absorbs well and quickly, leaving the skin feeling moisturized without being too watery. I really like that! It doesn't spread easily, the capsules don't break open well, and it feels a bit sticky on the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 18, 2021
I bought this along with the toner and have been using them together. It's pretty decent. It's fragrance-free. As an ampoule... I'm not sure if it's really fulfilling its role as an ampoule or if it's just a slightly thicker toner. It's a bit confusing. No special tips to share, just use it after your toner.
