This product absorbs quickly without leaving any sticky residue. It's perfect for a light application. I loved the subtle tulip and woody scent that wasn't overpowering. The hydration doesn't seem to be very effective. While it's from an expensive brand, the price is quite high for a hand emulsion. - de*******Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 29, 2023
For summer, I find a lighter hand emulsion more suitable than thick, heavy hand creams. Especially after going through the COVID period, we've been washing our hands more frequently. Applying hand cream after every wash can be burdensome (and if it's expensive, it feels like you're washing it off too quickly). That's why a light formula + large volume + pump-type hand emulsion product has been so useful. This hand emulsion meets all those criteria, and above all, the scent is absolutely divine. It has a fragrant, fresh cut-flower feel that's perfect for the summer season. It absorbs smoothly and the lingering scent is wonderful. I've sampled the other scents (Suede, Rose, Vetiver) too, but Tulip Mania seems the most fitting for summer. The others felt a bit weak in fragrance, but this one uniquely leaves a subtle, lasting scent. Oddly enough, despite being 450ml, the container feels enormous. If using alone, it should last quite a while. Byredo... it's expensive, isn't it? The department store price is $85, ouch. Occasionally, you can find 10% brand discount coupons on online department store sites. It's hard to justify buying with your own money, but it would be a delightful gift to receive! Highly recommended as a gift! They say the scent is almost identical to Byredo's La Tulipe perfume and body emulsion. If you use the same line, you might just transform into a human tulip. - km*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedFeb 23, 2023
You can definitely achieve that 'human tulip' scent! It's similar to La Tulipe but with a subtle twist. Everyone who smells it will be curious about the fragrance. Compared to hand creams, this offers better value for money given the amount you get. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. If you find Byredo hand creams too rich, you might want to give this hand emulsion a try! - 51*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 31, 2023
1. Light texture suitable for use in all seasons 2. Convenient pump dispenser for easy application 3. Relatively good value for money among Byredo products 4. Can be used on both face and body 1. Not very moisturizing 2. Not recommended if you dislike strong floral scents - gy*******Dry SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 4, 2021
It's a bit pricey, but you get a generous amount. The scent is more woody than floral, with tulip notes taking a backseat. This product might be polarizing. I'm a fan, but many people around me aren't keen on it. - tp******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedFeb 25, 2021
It absorbs without feeling sticky and applies smoothly. The scent is pleasant and the volume is generous. It's suitable for oily skin throughout all four seasons. The high price makes it hard to use liberally. You might need to reapply in winter. The fragrance is absolutely delightful.
