Here's a review from The Hwahae Testers: 1. Cleansing effectiveness I've always used cleansing water, so this was my first time trying a cleansing oil. I had a preconceived notion that a 100% natural oil might not cleanse as effectively, but I was pleasantly surprised by how gently yet thoroughly it cleaned my skin. 2. Texture and feel After gently massaging it onto dry skin and rinsing with water, it creates a slight lather. Despite being an oil, it doesn't leave any slippery residue. Moreover, it didn't cause any blemishes. 3. Safe ingredients As listed in the ingredients, it's composed of truly gentle components, allowing me to use it with peace of mind.
I'd heard that apricot kernel oil helps remove blackheads, but no matter how much I rolled it on my skin, it didn't seem to extract any sebum for me.
It's great as a first step cleanser to gently remove makeup. My sister, who has extremely dry skin, found it helpful for moisturizing cleansing during the dry winter weather. The photo shows the amount of residual sebum after cleansing and demonstrates its cleansing effectiveness.
