It has great absorbency and is the best for my dry, sensitive skin as it applies without irritation. It's lightweight and quickly absorbs into the skin when applied. It's great to use before makeup. After applying, it feels like a protective coating is formed to prevent the moisture from evaporating. When I cleanse my face in the morning, this coating smoothly rinses off. It's perfect for summer use.
Cons
You need to thoroughly moisturize before applying it. Using the serum alone can be drying. It's not enough for dry skin on its own. While it's good to use before makeup, it may not be sufficient for dry skin as the weather gets colder.
Tip
Since it has great absorbency, you can quickly and smoothly spread it across the skin when applying.

I have a combination skin type, with the T-zone being slightly more oily compared to other areas (but not overly oily). I usually don't like rich, creamy moisturizers that feel like they just sit on the surface and attract dust. But this one is different. It has a nice cooling sensation, applies smoothly and comfortably, and really sinks into the skin, giving a plump, hydrated feel. I've been using it since the first time and have been very satisfied. I also have sensitive skin, so I'm usually hesitant to change products, but this one hasn't caused any breakouts. In the evenings, I use this, and in the mornings, I use a vitamin-rich cream before makeup.
Cons
I don't really have any downsides to this product. Everyone's experience may vary, but for me, a small amount is enough to cover my entire face, so I don't think it will get used up too quickly.
Tip
I first do a hydrating toner, then apply the cream, layering it once. When I do this, my skin feels so plump and balanced in terms of hydration and oil. Especially noteworthy is that I've never experienced dryness or itchiness the next morning after using this cream.

The cream had a nice spreadability. Although it looked like a thin cream based on other reviews, it turned out to be more of a balm-like texture when I tried it. However, it wasn't a heavy balm, so I could scoop out a small amount, melt it in my hands, and apply it in a rolling motion. Even though I have a larger face, a small amount was enough to thinly cover my face with a moisturizing layer. Even in the middle of summer, it didn't feel overly greasy, but if you're expecting a typical 'water-fresh' lightweight moisturizer, this might feel a bit heavier. The moisturizing power was great. Even with just a thin layer, my face didn't feel tight or dry later on. It provided a comfortable, balanced level of moisture without making my skin too oily or dry. Regarding the overall usage, some say it has an amazing cooling effect, but I didn't notice my face feeling extremely cool, probably because I used only a small amount. However, there was a slight refreshing, cooling sensation after application. It definitely helps control any heat or flushing. Compared to the lightweight moisturizer I used before, which had a completely shine-free, non-sticky finish, this one does leave a slight dewy glow, likely due to the moisturizing layer it forms. But it's not an unnatural, silicone-like shine. The shea butter may be the reason. It does maintain the moisturized state for a long time, and I was worried it might cause breakouts because of the glow, but fortunately, it didn't trigger any troubles. Even with a bit of oiliness, the soothing and calming effects seem to prevent any blemishes. And unlike the previous lightweight cream, this one doesn't leave any tightness.
Cons
As a 'fresh' cream, the finish is refreshing, but I was hoping the moisturizing effect would last longer. While there is a cooling sensation, the final result is somewhat similar to using a cream for dry skin - it's moisturizing, but not as long-lasting as I'd hoped. However, since it doesn't cause any troubles for my oily-skinned complexion, I'm continuing to use it in small amounts, melting it in my hands before applying.
Tip
For those of us with oily skin like mine, it might be best to use water-based, hydrating products first, and then use this cream just to add the final layer of oil/emollient to balance the moisture levels perfectly.

I have very sensitive skin that is prone to heat and irritation, so I've always had a hard time using creams or skincare products without breaking out or feeling too dry or oily. But I tried the Bobbi Brown Hydrating Cream, which is affordable and has good ingredients, and it's been a game-changer. It's so refreshing and cooling, it instantly soothed the heat in my skin. The lightweight formula really drenches my skin in moisture, and I haven't had any breakouts at all. For the first time, I've been able to fully use up a cream and it's become an essential part of my routine. I love it!
Cons
The only downside is that I used it up so quickly, since I was applying it morning, night, and for touch-ups throughout the day. But it was worth it!
Tip
A great tip is to apply it with a sponge - the cooling sensation is so invigorating when you do it that way!

It was so refreshing and really helped calm down the heat that built up during the summer. I dislike the sticky feeling of applying something at night before bed, but this felt light and left a nice glow on my face. As someone with combination skin and clogged pores, my blemishes were reduced in the mornings after using it consistently morning and night. Even though it's an oil-free product, the long-lasting hydration was great.
Cons
It gets used up quickly, so I wish the size was larger.
Tip
If you massage it into your skin before bed, your skin will look so radiant in the morning.

I've always used Bobbi Brown's Extra Moisturizing Cream or Physiogel Cream, but in the summer they felt a bit heavy. So I went looking for a lighter cream and tried this new one that just came out. The cooling sensation when I apply it is just wonderful. The sorbet-like texture that melts into the skin makes me feel refreshed every time I use it. The fragrance is also lovely. As someone with very sensitive, combination, and reddish skin, I'm really happy that it helps calm the redness a lot.
Cons
The amount is a bit disappointing... It would be great if they came out with a larger size as well. Those with very dry skin may find it a bit drying, so it's a good idea to use it with another cream or lotion.

My skin is a combination of psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, dry cheeks, and oily T-zone! It's so sensitive, finding the right product is like a camel trying to pass through the eye of a needle~~? It's been tough. But what about this product... the good points: Check! Check! ✔️ It feels so refreshingly cool when applied, as if it just came straight out of the refrigerator! ✔️ The texture is lightweight like a gel, but it has impressive lasting power, outperforming regular creams. ✔️ Lately, when I apply a moisturizer during makeup, it often gets cakey, but this product doesn't get cakey even when I apply it twice. ✔️ These days, I have to wear a mask all day, and my cheeks and around my mouth have been breaking out in pimples, going back and forth. But when I slather this product on and go to bed, the redness and itchiness are gone the next day. ✔️ Definitely, after using this product, my skin feels more soothed and supple the next day, rather than oily. I used this product happily until the last drop. It's hard for me to find such a product, so I couldn't take away any stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+
Cons
⚠️But I kind of overdid it... It seems I used too much of it, and since the effects were so good during use, I ended up using it excessively... I think I used it for about 3.5 months. As I was running out, I felt really reluctant to stop using it...ㅠㅠ ⚠️Bobbi Brown, please give me a large size of this! If you have a 100ml version of this one, I'll buy it right away~ ⚠️This 'Hydrating' line seems to be really soothing for people with troubles or sensitive skin, Personally, if they could offer a product in this line specifically for trouble spots, that would be amazing❇️ (By the way, the face cream from this line also worked really well for me)
Tip
When my skin is grumbling and trouble spots are trying to flare up, if I apply this product very thinly a few times (2-3 times) before bed, and also spread the leftover cream on my neck and hands, it's like... It's as if I've done a full-face hydrating and soothing mask, extending all the way down to my neck! True to its name, I could really feel the freshness 💙

First of all, I've tried various Bobbi Brown products, including both skincare and makeup, and since they've recently released a new cream line, I've been using one for about a month and am leaving a review. ^^ When I used their existing hydrating face cream before, it was incredibly soft and, as the name suggests, had great moisture and hydration. But the Fresh Cream is even smoother in application, and definitely feels cooler and more refreshing compared to the regular face cream. Since I tend to have some redness and heat sensation on my face, this seemed to suit me better. ㅎㅎ It feels so refreshing when applied, and ^^~ The absorption is very light and fresh, like a gel texture, so it gets absorbed quickly without feeling heavy or sticky. The cream doesn't have that typical heavy, stuffy feeling, so I felt I was able to use it better. ^^ If you find creams annoying to apply in the morning and prefer something that absorbs quickly, you'll probably really enjoy using this. ㅎㅎ
Cons
There isn't really any major downside, but if I had to pick one, it would be that the amount feels a bit small. ^^ The price also seems reasonable compared to Bobbi Brown's regular skincare line. And these days, I'm quite sensitive to ingredients, so I tend to hesitate buying anything if there's even a slight risk factor. But if you check, the risk level is low, so I think it should be fine for anyone except the most sensitive, reactive skin types. ^^ (I also have sensitive, acne-prone skin) If you've been hesitating to buy this due to potential risky ingredients, I'd recommend checking out this review and giving it a try.
Tip
Personally, I'd recommend this as a morning cream. As I mentioned, the redness and heat sensation tends to be especially pronounced in the mornings for me, and my makeup doesn't apply well and can get patchy. This is excellent for soothing and calming. 👍🏻

First, I was using a birch sap moisturizer before. But lately, as I've been wearing masks for a long time and the weather has been hot and humid, I've been getting a lot of milia and my skin has been turning upside down... So I tried this cream, and in less than 3 days after using it, I immediately felt the effects. First, when I apply it, there's a cooling and soothing sensation. And somehow, my skin feels calmed down. And as it absorbs quickly, my skin feels plump and well-hydrated. The birch sap moisturizer was also similar in terms of moisturizing, but the moisture seemed to evaporate faster, so I had to layer it a couple of times. But this cream, even with just one application, kept my skin moisturized for a very long time, and when I woke up the next day, the milia had subsided and my blemishes had calmed down!! And since my skin is really sensitive, the fact that no new troubles popped up after using this cream means the ingredients are quite gentle (although I'm not sure). Anyway, I'm so satisfied with this as my summer moisturizer. The key points of this cream seem to be the hydration, plumpness, coolness, and soothing effects.
Cons
As for the downside, I really can't think of any... It's much more affordable than the Bobbi Brown Extra line, and I'm completely satisfied with everything!!
Tip
On days when my skin is really struggling and has become extremely sensitive, applying this cream seems to visibly calm my skin the next day, even if not completely. Compared to the Extra line, it may not have as rich of a nourishing feel, so those who prefer more nourishing creams might prefer the Extra Moisture Cream. But in terms of the plump, hydrating sensation, the Water Fresh Cream seems to be superior.

And I prefer tube-type creams that get hardened when opened and closed... So I like this type of cream jar that you twist to open and close the lid. The matte design is also nice because fingerprints don't show up ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Overall: It suits my skin really well, so I have the intention to repurchase. The long-lasting moisturizing effect makes it the best cream to use before doing my skin makeup. I'd recommend this to those with thin, sensitive skin. It was a cream that was worth the price. After applying this cream, my irritated skin was soothed, which I really liked. Rating: 4.5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
Cons
The only downside is that it gets used up quickly? I liked it so much that I would apply it generously like a face pack right after cleansing, so it got used up faster ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ As for the price... I thought it was worth it ㅋㅋ 🤣
Tip
It's great to apply it at night before bed, but I recommend trying it in the morning before doing your makeup. It helps prep the skin so well that it makes your makeup look more polished and smooth, even better than many makeup primers.⭐️ And if you have the diligence to carry a small container with you, gently massage it onto any flaky areas when removing your makeup, and then reapply it - it really gives you the full value for the price.❤️ The last tip is that when applying the cream, massage it in the direction of the grain, and then lightly pat it in - this will increase the cooling sensation!!!! So for those with hot, sensitive skin, try doing it this way ^^
