Unparalleled color! Where else could you find a tint like this? It stays moisturizing even after application. While most people seem to mix it with other lip products, I love using it on its own. On paper, it might look yellow, making you wonder how to wear it alone, but it's not just yellow - it's more of an amber shade. Applying two layers in the center creates a unique orange look on the lips. Despite its unusual color, I'd recommend it to anyone who loves orange lip products. Being a tint, it's great for mixing. Some lip products clump or get sticky when mixed, and layering multiple products can feel heavy. But this tint is lightweight and blends easily. For those who find lip colors too similar and boring, this could be an exciting new option to try. The quantity is small! While this is typical for tints, I really love this product and enjoy mixing it with other lip products, so I'm worried I'll use it up quickly. The ingredients aren't great either. However, I haven't experienced any blemishes while using it, so I'm just ignoring that aspect for now. It's a bit disappointing though. Currently on sale at Amelie! This tangerine shade is absolutely insane... As someone with a dull, dark warm undertone, the moment I apply this, it's like an explosion of vitality! I used to only wear clear reds and toss all pink lip products in the trash, but now, with this as a base, any color I layer on top looks drop-dead gorgeous. It should be legally required for warm-toned folks to own one of these! I'm not a fan of glossy finishes, and this does lean towards the shiny side. But it's so pretty, I'll use it anyway. It's a match made in heaven with Plastic Grapefruit, so let's try using them together! - mo**********Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 30, 2020
- Texture and application: It has a water-like consistency, so a small amount spreads easily on the lips. Unlike most tints that can feel drying, this one is relatively moisturizing. - Color payoff: At first, I wondered how I'd pull off this tangerine shade. However, the color isn't too vibrant but rather subtle, creating a natural, bright orange hue that complements warm complexions. With my slightly yellow-toned 23 shade skin, this instantly brightens my face. It might look even better on those with fairer skin. It can be used as a base before applying your main lip color, which is how I primarily used it. Due to my dry, flaky lips, it didn't stain evenly even after multiple applications. - Longevity: If applied in the morning before going out, most of the color fades after one meal. As expected from a water-based formula, its staying power isn't particularly impressive. While I understand it's challenging to use beneficial ingredients in color cosmetics, looking at the ingredient list makes me hesitant to repurchase. I wasn't particularly impressed by its quality relative to its price point. However, given the unique color, it might be worth trying at least once. - di**********Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 24, 2020
It's a rare yellow tangerine shade that's hard to find in the market. While orange shades are common, this yellow tangerine hue is quite unique! It's a glossy type with a slight staining effect. The color appears too light with just one application... You need to apply it two or three times for the tangerine shade to really show up. The regular price seems a bit steep... I'd recommend buying it when there's a 20% discount.
