Pros
In the past, I received Avène products as samples and used them for a while. I liked them so much that I ended up purchasing this serum as well!! Since I have oily skin, I appreciated that it absorbs quickly without leaving an oily residue.

It applied smoothly. I think the absorption is pretty good as long as you don't rub it on too hard and directly.
Cons
The fragrance was quite strong with an alcohol scent at first, which surprised me. But the fragrance dissipated quickly, so it was fine. I got used to it later and didn't mind it anymore haha There were times when I felt stickiness after applying and rubbing it in, which I really disliked. And I didn't feel like my skin improved at all.
