First of all, I am a type of person who often has skin troubles! Even though I was using the cosmetics well, they would sometimes turn against me and cause breakouts, so I kept changing the product line I was using. However, whenever I used this particular product, it would quickly calm and soothe my skin when breakouts occurred, so I rushed to write a review.👍👍 The serum doesn't have an excessive amount of oil, and when applied, it feels very clean and adheres nicely to the face, so I was pleased with the application as well. Whenever I had breakouts, I used this serum for several days and simplified my routine as much as possible, and found that it calmed my skin very well. I really want to strongly recommend this to those of you who, like me, find that cosmetics sometimes don't work for you and cause problems. The volume is on the smaller side, and I'm already almost done using it, but I definitely plan to repurchase!

The smell!!!! is really the biggest barrier. I tried it for the first time and got it on sale, and the alcohol smell was so strong that I thought it might have gone bad. However, it worked well enough that I was willing to put up with it.👍 Next is the price.. which is a bit disappointing. Considering the small 30ml size, the price of 33,000 won is a bit burdensome. I would recommend trying to buy it at the maximum discount.

The Daiso The Lab by Blandew Moisture Cream and the Kim Jung Mun Aloe Cream (not the 2x version) made a great combination. I highly recommend it!

The effects are really fast and great. I apply a generous amount before bed on the days my skin is irritated, and by the next morning, the irritation has completely calmed down.
Cons
It's just way too expensive 😭 The amount isn't even that much, but the price is just too high 😭 But it's good enough that I'm on my third bottle!

Although I learned about winning the prize a little late and have been using the product for about a week, I haven't seen any dramatic effects yet! I am writing a review after using the product for a week as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer. My skin type: - Combination skin leaning towards dry, with blemish-prone skin - Sensitive skin that reacts quickly to the wrong cosmetics - Freckled skin 1. Texture: The texture was good. It did not feel sticky, and it was quickly absorbed into the skin after application, with a good absorption feel. My hair did not stick to it, so the texture was pleasant. The product that I liked the most among the items recommended by the Olive Young staff. I've used various Avène products, but this one has been the most effective when my skin was in distress. This is my third bottle!

I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer. My skin type has a lot of oil in the T-zone and is very dry and sensitive in the U-zone. I don't have atopic dermatitis or severe acne, but if I use the wrong cosmetics, small pimples come up and my skin gets irritated and feels hot. So I was a bit worried, but luckily my skin didn't get too irritated. The sebum control serum definitely helped - there was a bit less oil coming up in the T-zone compared to when I used other lotions or moisturizers. The texture is similar to a moisturizing cream, so the application and absorption are not bad. There's an initial sticky feeling, but that goes away quickly. It's not super moisturizing, so dry skin types may want to use a separate moisturizer after this serum. Combination skin types using a matte foundation or cushion may also want to apply a light moisturizer thinly. I still use peel-off products or sebum control cosmetics separately for my oily nose area, but using this serum seems to have slowed down the speed at which oily buildup occurs on my nose. Overall, it's an average product, not bad but not great either.

The real downside is the smell... It has a strong alcohol disinfectant scent, and when I first applied it, I was worried if I should go wash my face again because the smell was so intense!! The alcohol smell is really strong. Even though the scent goes away once it's absorbed, I think people sensitive to fragrances would really struggle with this. I don't generally like fragrances in cosmetics, but this one has such a prominent alcohol smell that it's almost unavoidable. I'm not sure if it's just me, but after using just the toner and this serum for about 5 days, my skin felt a bit irritated. So now I'm using the full routine of toner, lotion, and then this serum, and the irritated feeling has gone away. After using it for only about 2 weeks so far, I haven't noticed any significant changes in my skin yet. It's supposed to help control sebum and soothe breakouts, but I'm still getting small pimples. That could be due to other factors though. I do feel like my sebum production has decreased a bit, but the oily buildup on my nose hasn't completely gone away, so I still need to use peeling products separately to manage that. The packaging is inconvenient since it's not transparent, so I can't see how much is left. And since it's a pump bottle, I won't be able to use up every last bit of the product neatly. Overall, since I'm not seeing major effects, I'm not sure if I'll repurchase this serum after finishing the full-size one I got as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, considering the strong scent I have to tolerate.

I was able to try the Hwahae event product! I could feel the effects of controlling sebum and tightening pores, so I thought it was the perfect product for me and used it for over a week! First, the 'texture' was rich but absorbed quickly, and it was moisturizing enough for my dry skin. I didn't expect the moisturizing effect, but I was pleasantly surprised! And since my skin was just about to turn around, I observed the 'sebum' control and was satisfied with the results.
