I bought the Hwahae Trial Reviewer wax because my skin was irritated. The scent is so good that it's almost like candy, and the skin care waxing is similar and comes off cleanly. Unlike regular wax, it washes off easily with water, so no after-tissue is needed.

When opening the box, peel it off gently so you can use it for storage.
For this product's sealing varnish, only tear off 1/3 of it to use for adjusting the amount.

While it is relatively non-irritating to the skin, the adhesive strength is a bit weak. I wish it would grip my nails tighter.

Other waxes had the inconvenience of having to wipe off the residual wax with oil and then wash off the remaining oil with water, but this product can be easily wiped off with just water, which is great.

I'd only recommend this product for simple arm and leg waxing. Waxing the face or armpits is too difficult. And since this is a waxing treatment that removes the hair from the roots, proper aftercare is crucial. You need to exfoliate with a body scrub within 3 days of waxing, and then make sure to properly moisturize. I was a bit ignorant about this at first, and ended up with ingrown hairs on my legs that I'm still struggling with. I even had to buy a body scrub pad. Make sure to follow the aftercare instructions thoroughly!

However, for the thicker hairs in my armpits, even with applying extra force, the sticky solution just remained there while only a few strands of hair were plucked. Thinking it might be my inexperience, I tried it a couple more times, even with my mom's help, but the results were the same - a disappointing outcome where only some hairs were removed and the sticky residue remained. In the end, I had to get by this summer wearing only short-sleeved tops and couldn't wear tank tops.

I purchased this product to wax my arms, legs, and armpits as it's summer. Before buying, I carefully watched videos and read reviews, and used the product right away on the same day. Other solid wax products require the hassle of scooping the wax into a separate container, heating it, and then cleaning up afterwards. But with this product, you just need to open the lid and microwave it for 30-50 seconds, and it melts right away and is ready to apply. It also comes with a wooden applicator stick and plenty of fabric patches that you can stick on and peel off. The scent is also pleasant, so it won't be divisive. The product itself works very well at removing the relatively thin hairs on my arms and legs. The sensation of applying and peeling off the wax patches wasn't overly painful either.

The thin hair like on the fingers is hard to pluck, which is disappointing.

The price-to-quality ratio is decent, and the arm and leg hair is well-plucked, which I like.

Of course, you should apply it thinly. If you glob it on, it will end up discoloring over time, so be careful! When washing and drying the pads, make sure to stretch them out in the warm water to prevent wrinkling.

After about 30 seconds of application, some uneven pigmentation appeared, which was a bit inconvenient.
However, after a 20-minute warm shower and a good night's sleep, it had almost completely faded. The pads are reusable, and while the wax dissolves in warm water, the hair stuck to the pads is difficult to remove. I ended up rubbing the pads, which made them wrinkly.
The box also includes a wooden stick, but I didn't use it out of fear of getting pricked by the edges.

The scent and quantity seem quite good for the price. I bought it for 19,900 won at Olive Young. It doesn't seem to go on sale often, which is a shame.
When applied, it feels warm and the apple scent comes through, which is really pleasant. However, it does hurt a bit when removed, though less so compared to other products.
As for moisturizing, I apply a soothing gel right after washing, and despite my sensitive, dry skin and atopy, I never experience any irritation or dryness! This product has also been ranked #1 in the hair removal wax category.
