I bought the Nair Apple Sugar Hair Removal Wax because I was bothered by body hair. The scent is so good you might mistake it for candy. It's similar to professional waxing and removes hair cleanly. Unlike regular wax, it washes off easily with water, so you don't need after-wax wipes. If you're not familiar with skincare techniques and haven't been trained, it might not be easy to use. The product melts and becomes runny, so when it starts to flow from the stick, apply an appropriate amount in the direction of hair growth while twisting the stick. Then, press a non-woven strip in that direction and quickly pull it off in the opposite direction. - ok*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 11, 2024
Unlike other waxes that require the inconvenience of wiping off residual wax with oil and then removing the remaining oil with water, this product rinses off easily with just water, which is great. While it's relatively gentle on the skin, its hold isn't very strong. I wish it would grip my hair more firmly. Open the box carefully so you can use it for storage. Only peel off about a third of the product's seal to help control the amount you use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 3, 2023
This is my go-to product for at-home hair removal. I've been using it for over 5 years and must have purchased it at least 10 times. The only downside is that there aren't many strips included. It's also a bit of a hassle to wash and reuse them. - km*********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 12, 2023
The waxing worked incredibly well on my long arm hair, leaving it super smooth. I loved the sweet fragrance too. I tidied up any remaining fine hairs with a razor. The difference was so dramatic, it's like I changed ethnicities - I've attached a photo to show you! Keep in mind that due to the nature of waxing, there's going to be some pain when you pull it off. Also, the red color of the wax can be a bit intimidating. Don't forget to moisturize after waxing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMar 3, 2021
It reduced blemishes and made my skin feel soft and smooth. I couldn't remove all the hair thoroughly. I only did my arms and legs, but used up the entire bottle. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 14, 2020
As a first-time waxer, I was pleased to find it easy enough for beginners to use. I ran out of strips while doing my whole legs. I had to wash and reuse them, then finish up with some fabric I had at home. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 2, 2020
I gave Nair Waxing a shot, and while I'm not completely satisfied, I can recommend it for those with fine or sparse hair. My leg hair is quite thick, and this waxing only removed some of it. I still had to go back and pluck out the remaining hairs. Not entirely effective for very hairy legs Mediocre results overall - cy*****Dehydrated SkinAug 25, 2020
I bought this product for summer waxing of my arms, legs, and underarms. Before purchasing, I thoroughly researched videos and reviews, then used it immediately upon arrival. Unlike other hard wax products that require scooping into a separate container, this one simply needs 30-50 seconds in the microwave to melt and apply. It comes with a wooden spatula and plenty of fabric strips. The fragrance is pleasant and likely won't be divisive. The product works very well on thinner hair on arms and legs. The sensation of applying and removing wasn't particularly painful either. However, for thicker hair like in the underarms, even with forceful removal, the sticky solution remained and only a few hairs were removed - a disappointing result. Initially thinking it was due to my inexperience, I tried a few more times and even had my mom help, but the outcome was the same. Consequently, I spent the summer limited to short sleeves, unable to wear tank tops. I'd only recommend this for simple hair removal on arms and legs. It's too challenging for facial or underarm use. As this is root-removing waxing, thorough aftercare is crucial. Exfoliate within 3 days post-waxing and ensure ample hydration afterwards. I was initially unaware of this and have been struggling with ingrown hairs on my legs. I even bought exfoliating pads for my body. Please, everyone, be diligent with your aftercare! - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2020
Great value for money with a decent amount of product. It's effective at removing hair from arms and legs. Unfortunately, it's not as effective on finer hair like that on fingers. - mh*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedAug 1, 2020
The scent and quantity are really good for the price. I bought it at Olive Young for 19,900 won. I was hoping for a sale, but this product rarely seems to go on discount. When applying, it feels warm and has a pleasant apple scent that really lifts my mood. It does hurt a bit when pulling off, but less so compared to other products. I can't say for sure about the moisturizing effect since I apply a soothing gel right after washing, but I have sensitive, dry skin with atopy, and I never experience any stinging or dryness after using this! Apparently, this product even ranked first in the hair removal wax category. This brand offers a variety of hair removal products, which made me trust it more. About 30 seconds after applying, I noticed some patchy pigmentation which was a bit uncomfortable. However, after showering with warm water for about 20 minutes and sleeping, I woke up to find it had mostly disappeared. The pads are reusable, so I washed them in warm water, but while the wax dissolved, the hair stuck to the pads was hard to remove. I got frustrated trying to pick them out one by one, so I rubbed the pad and it ended up all wrinkled. There's also a wooden stick in the box, but I was afraid of getting splinters so I used a different waxing stick instead. At first, I didn't know how to use it properly and applied too much, which didn't work well. Naturally, you need to apply it thinly. Be careful not to apply too much as it can lead to staining over time! When washing and drying the pads, to prevent them from getting wrinkled, stretch them out gently in warm water.
