A moisturizing cream with a balanced oil-water ratio and a subtle yellow tint. When applied, it feels like a 4:6 ratio of hydration to richness, which is better than creams that are overly hydrating and lead to deep dryness over time. The finish leaves the skin feeling adequately moisturized and nourished. It's a great value for money, priced in the low ten-thousand won range. The fragrance is a delicate blend of tangerine and banana scents. Its biggest pro is also its con - it comes in an extremely large jar. As someone who prefers tube-type creams, these oversized jar formats are not only less convenient to use, but the included spatula is also relatively small compared to the amount of product, making application even more challenging. I found it easier to transfer some of the product into a pump bottle from Daiso for more convenient use. - eu********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 24, 2022
The large size allows for generous and carefree application. The lightweight formula makes it comfortable to apply without feeling heavy on the skin. Given its lightweight formula, it's difficult to expect significant moisturizing power. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 23, 2022
I'm currently using the green tea and lanolin cream from the Gray Melin line. The generous amount allows me to apply it liberally before bed. It's quite hydrating. However, it feels a bit heavy on my skin, so I'm planning to try something different once I finish this one. If I apply a thick layer just once, my skin feels dry after a while. I end up applying it twice before bed, but then it feels slightly suffocating. - se************Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 6, 2021
It applies smoothly, which I love, and makes my skin look clearer. I'm usually sensitive to fragrances, but this one is fine. For my night routine, I layer Docto, ampoule, soothing gel, then cream. In the morning, I use Docto, soothing gel (if my skin feels extra dry), then cream. After 2 minutes, I blot excess oil with a tissue, apply sunscreen, and finish with powder. The results are amazing! My skin has improved significantly. I had blemishes before, but they've reduced since using this. When I combined it with the soothing gel, over 80% of my blemishes disappeared. I'm no longer afraid to take off my mask! The affordable price is a bonus. 1. After using the ampoule and gel, my hands get a bit messy, making it tricky to twist open the cream's lid. 2. It's a large container, so if you lose the spatula, you'll have to use your fingers, which isn't ideal for hygiene. 3. While it's not sticky, the cream's richness means dust tends to stick to my face. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 29, 2021
Until my mid-20s, I had fair skin. Even after tanning at the beach, my complexion would return to normal within a week. My childhood nickname was even 'Caucasian'! I relied on my natural skin tone and neglected sunscreen, which led to a sunspot explosion and darkening complexion. Ignoring it only made things worse. In a rush to find an affordable yet effective solution, I bought this and transferred it to a pump bottle. After using it for a week, applying it generously on my sunspots and lightly all over my face every night, I haven't seen improvement in the sunspots yet, but my skin has become noticeably clearer! The packaging is disappointing. I would have paid more if it came in a pump bottle. The current jar format is less hygienic. Plus, transferring it to a pump bottle is a hassle. My husband, who has oily skin, didn't like it and stopped using it. I have dry skin and find it moisturizing at first with a powdery finish, but my husband with oily skin complained about stickiness from application until bedtime. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinNov 25, 2020
The amount is generous, and the texture is a moisturizing cream type that's easy to apply. When I use this, it causes blemishes to appear... It seems it doesn't suit my skin. Also, while they probably intended a citrusy scent like tangerines, it actually smells artificial, like rubber or plastic. :( After opening, the inner lid isn't sturdy enough and within days of use, it warps and doesn't close properly, leaving gaps (see photo). This is a bit inconvenient. Due to the drawbacks mentioned earlier, I'm just using it as a body emulsion now. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 29, 2020
It's quite rich, so I recommend it for dry skin. I use about two-thirds of it in winter and one-third during the rest of the year. The price is affordable and you get a generous amount, which is great. The lid is a bit flimsy. After using it for a while, the edges start to feel like they're crumbling. It's wonderful to apply all over your body in winter for that deeply moisturized feeling. - no******Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 19, 2020
The price and ingredients are decent. It comes in a generous size. The absorption is just right, and it provides a good level of hydration. The lasting power is short-lived. It doesn't stay on for long. I have extremely dry skin, so that might be why. It would probably work fine for those with normal, healthy skin. - 48*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 10, 2020
I bought this because of its large size and whitening claims. First off, I was completely shocked by its size. Wow, this is truly what you can call a large-volume product! I also liked that it has gentle ingredients. It applies smoothly and has decent hydration. While it doesn't absorb instantly, it does sink in over time, leaving my skin feeling moisturized. What I love most about Gray Mellin is that it's a large-volume product with no harmful ingredients. I used to go through one cream per month, but this has lasted me several months, which I'm really happy about. Despite my skin being very prone to blemishes, this doesn't cause any at all. However, while it's marketed as a brightening moisturizer, I'm not sure about its effectiveness in that regard. If you're looking to even your skin tone, you might want to try other products in the line. It's probably best to think of this as just a moisturizer, without expecting any complexion-enhancing benefits. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 30, 2020
Absorbs well and feels great on the skin. The generous size means you can apply liberally without worry. It leaves a fresh finish without any stickiness. While it absorbs nicely into the skin and provides good hydration, it seems to dry out rather quickly.
