It lathers well, a little goes a long way, and I love that the scent isn't overpowering. The staying power is great, and after cleansing, my skin feels hydrated and not tight at all. It cleanses effectively, and I've been using it for 6 months with satisfying results. I'd definitely repurchase and recommend it. I haven't noticed any drawbacks, but since it's not quite perfect yet, I'm giving it 4 stars. - gu******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 23, 2022
I love that it comes as a powder and bubbles up when mixed with water. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated, and a small amount is enough for a thorough cleanse. Plus, the powder helps gently exfoliate, removing dead skin cells from my face, which I really appreciate. There weren't many downsides, to be honest. The only slight inconvenience is having to pour the powder into your hand, work up a lather, and then cleanse your face. It's a bit more involved than using a regular cleanser. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 7, 2022
After cleansing, my skin doesn't feel dry at all. It has great cleansing effectiveness without being too harsh. Being a powder type, it can get a bit messy around the container opening when using it in the shower. - bi****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 26, 2022
Absolutely highly recommended! A must-buy for those struggling with sebum, blackheads, and pores! I'm in my 40s with combination dehydrated skin, sensitive and pore-rich, with a dull complexion. As I've aged, sebum production has decreased, but my enlarged pores seem to trap dead skin cells, making them appear dark and noticeable all over. This bothered me so much that I've been trying everything - cleansing oils known for sebum removal, AHA/BHA pads, pore-care ampoules, vitamin serums, Philimili brush, and various enzyme powders. Of course, all these products are good in their own right. I'm even undergoing pore management treatments at a dermatologist, though the results aren't quite satisfying for the price. While all these products live up to their reputations to some extent, my biggest concern - removing dead skin cells trapped in pores rather than sebum or blackheads - wasn't adequately addressed. Despite having a stockpile of enzyme powder cleansers at home (thanks to my Wadiz shopping sprees), I bought 4 bottles of the Mediheal Micro Cleanser based on reviews. It dissolves in water incredibly well and lathers nicely. The particles are super fine! After just one use, I was amazed to see the dark spots on my nose disappear. Even pads and extraction tools couldn't remove them before, but this micro cleanser seems to clean deep into the pores. I'm writing this review because I'm so impressed. While it didn't remove everything, it cleared about 70% of the buildup around my nose. And surprisingly, it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry at all. Among all the enzyme powder cleansers I've tried, this one leaves my skin feeling the most hydrated and smooth! I immediately had my son, who's prone to blackheads on his nose, try it. While it removed some of the smaller blackheads, the larger ones remained. It seemed to clear about 40% overall. Just for reference! I heard there were many complaints about the lid of the previous version, but they've improved it in this new product. So I didn't experience any inconvenience with the lid. It dispenses enough for one use, but I wish the amount could be adjusted a bit. I'd like to use less and make it last longer, you know? But then again, maybe that's the minimum amount needed for effectiveness? I use the Philimili brush. After lathering with the Philimili, I apply the foam all over my face (to let it sit for a bit?), then use the brush in circular motions on different areas to remove dead skin cells. - 00****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedDec 1, 2021
**For combination dehydrated/sensitive/acne-prone skin** **Usage:** I've been using this every morning for over 3-4 months. I only apply the powder with water to my nose, under-eye texture, and chin, gently rolling it in. For the rest of my face, I dissolve it completely in my hands and massage it all over! @Texture: Powder form This is my first time trying a powder cleanser, and I absolutely love it. I've always struggled with under-eye texture and blackheads, and nothing seemed to work until now. After 4 months of use, I can actually see them disappearing. It's not an intense scrub, so when you mix it with water and roll it on, it's gentle enough for daily use as an exfoliant! The powder isn't super fine, so there's no excess flying around when you use it. @Feel on the skin? I love that it doesn't leave my skin feeling squeaky clean. Since I only use it in the morning, I prefer something that doesn't strip my skin, as that can lead to more oil production. This leaves me feeling like there's still some hydration on my skin. It does feel a bit slippery afterwards, but you can easily rinse that off with a bit more water if you prefer. @Results While I didn't notice much in terms of oil control or tea tree soothing effects, as I mentioned earlier, my facial texture, blackheads, and blemishes have visibly reduced. I think because it's a powder that physically exfoliates, you can see results a bit faster! I still get the occasional big pimple, but I'm happy that my small bumps have disappeared. I was considering going to a dermatologist for my under-eye texture, but I saved some money thanks to this product! As for the blackheads, they've only recently started to improve, so I'll need to use it longer to be sure if it's thanks to this product. @Scent It smells like rubber clay or play-doh.. At first, it was a bit off-putting when using it, but after a while, you get used to it. If you're sensitive to scents, you might want to consider this. To put it nicely, it smells like baby formula. @Packaging I don't understand why they designed the container this way. I keep it in the bathroom, and sometimes it clumps up, so I have to shake it. The container isn't very sturdy, and when you open the lid, you'll find powder spilled all around the opening. Yet, it's not even easy to dispense when you're using it. Water often gets inside when I'm trying to clean around the opening, causing the powder to harden. It turns green and looks messy. I've resorted to just twisting it open and closed, which is much more convenient. @Price and quantity Honestly, it's on the pricier side. On top of that, the quantity isn't that generous, so if you take it with you when traveling, it runs out quickly. @Application Being a powder, it's a bit difficult and cumbersome to use. If the powder accidentally dissolves on your face and gets into your eyes.. it's been a while since I've experienced such a stinging cleansing foam. Because it's a powder, it doesn't rinse out of your eyes easily either. Be careful if you have sensitive eyes. @Scrub alternative I use this every morning on my problem areas. Rolling it on my fingertips with water and powder feels so good. I used to use a black sugar scrub, but this is much less irritating and doesn't feel too harsh for daily use. @Twisting the lid open The container is really... anyone who's used it will understand. It's much easier to just twist it open and closed. If you shower with the water running, some might get in, but the opening is only as big as a fingernail, so it's fine. I recommend twisting it open and closed for a cleaner and more stress-free experience! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 24, 2021
The powder is fine, so I was worried it might get into my eyes or nose, but it dissolves well in water, so it's not a problem. It lathers nicely and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry after use. The cleansing effectiveness was good, and the portability is excellent. There wasn't anything particularly bad. It might be a bit inconvenient to scoop out for use, but I ordered the renewed version, so it should be fine. One small tap seems to be the right amount to use. At first, use just a few drops of water for easier application. - tl*********Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 5, 2021
The redness and marks on my skin are gradually fading since I started using this cleanser. I'm really satisfied! Being a low pH cleanser, it seems suitable for all skin types in general. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedFeb 21, 2021
You can see a reduction in blackheads and pores. It lathers well when used with the right amount of water. The scent is almost unnoticeable, so there's no unpleasant fragrance to deal with. 1. It's difficult to control the amount because it's a powder. 2. One wash doesn't leave you feeling completely clean (skin feels slippery). 3. It hardens inside if you touch it with wet hands or use it in humid conditions like the shower. 4. When the water dries, your skin feels dry and tight (moisturizer is a must). - If you don't apply a hydrating cream, your skin gets super oily the next day... The more you lather, the cleaner your pores feel. You need to use at least a 100 won coin-sized amount for it to be effective. If there's not enough water, the foam deflates quickly and you need to rinse for a long time to avoid the slippery feeling. It needs to be used for at least 1 minute to be effective, but if you go over 5 minutes, your skin can turn red and develop blemishes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 30, 2021
The particles are fine and it has excellent cleansing effectiveness. Unlike other products where particles might fly around when you shake them, this one doesn't do that. Strangely, after using this product for about 3 days, I get blemishes around my mouth. While others seem to be fine with it, there must be something that doesn't agree with my skin. Sometimes the particles clump together. - pe****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 14, 2020
Here's my review after finishing a whole bottle I bought from a crowdfunding app. Highly recommended for those who love powder cleansers! It lathers up nicely, naturally removes dead skin cells, and leaves you feeling refreshed after cleansing. It absolutely doesn't make your skin feel tight; instead, it feels gentle. I've noticed improvements in blackheads and skin texture, which I believe is partly due to this product. The container is a bit inconvenient, unfortunately. It seems they designed it to be hygienic, but from a user's perspective, you have to move it around to get the product out, which can be frustrating at times. No complaints about the product itself though! I'm very satisfied. I bought it during the crowdfunding phase at a discounted price, but the regular price is quite high. Although I stocked up and plan to keep using it, I'm hesitant about repurchasing at full price due to the cost. For an extra boost of hydration, try using this with a cleansing oil or milk (I use Manyo Factory oil or Sidmool milk depending on the situation).
