Color: Swatched on the back of the hand, it's a vibrant red with hints of pink and orange. When blended out, it turns into a pure pink shade. On paper, compared to the hand swatch, it appears less saturated and slightly darker, giving an MLBB (My Lips But Better) effect. Similarly, when blended out on paper, it becomes pink. It significantly emphasizes dead skin cells and feels like it's just sitting on the lips without absorbing. There's also some transfer. Despite this, it doesn't feel less drying. It has a subtle fragrance, but it's not particularly pleasant. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 22, 2021
The color is absolutely gorgeous! This was my first time trying a tint, and I'm in love with the shade! After wearing it for a long time, I noticed it felt a bit drying. I was also surprised by how much it smudged when I tried to wipe it off, haha! - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 25, 2020
Personal Color: Shade 22 for Cool Summer with Deep Undertone Bright Skin Type: Normal to Dry, Resilient Skin, Prone to Lip Flaking ✔ A toned-down fluorescent cool pink-coral shade - Subtly purple-tinged cool coral - Among bright tones, it's relatively easy to wear - Best suited for Cool Summer leaning Deep Undertone Light or Summer Bright with Deep Undertone ✔ Staining - Becomes pinker over time, but not noticeably as the original color is in the pink family ✔ Soft, non-absorbing chiffon texture - Appears matte on the surface - Minimal absorption into lips, preventing dryness - Comfortable on the lips during use ✔ Subtle chocolate scent - Not disruptive during application ✔ Square-tipped applicator ✔ Ambiguous undertone - May be overwhelming for those seeking a natural lip color - While coral, it has a cool tone that might not suit Deep Undertones without Cool undertones - Pure Cool undertones might find the slight orange tint unsatisfactory ✔ Non-absorbing chiffon texture - Sits on top of lips, prone to transfer - May accentuate dead skin cells - Relatively short wear time ✔ Chocolate scent - May be polarizing ✔ Straight applicator tip - Inflexibility might cause application difficulties ✔ Texture adheres to lip contours, making exfoliation essential ✔ Transfers easily when touching other objects after application with fingers - Use a cotton swab for application ✔ Applying any product to dry lips can lead to further dehydration as the lips absorb the cosmetics ✔ For better results, hold a toner-soaked cotton pad on lips before application to maintain improved lip condition - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 19, 2020
1. Scent - The sweet chocolate fragrance made it enjoyable to apply! 2. Color - It's a mix of orange-red with pink, which suits deep undertones much better than lighter ones! It's a shade that really brightens up your face and gives you that Inner Glow! 3. Texture - The finish feels powdery, making it perfect for summer wear. 1. Longevity - Unfortunately, it transfers too easily. It always leaves marks on cups or straws when drinking. The staying power isn't great either. 2. Dead skin cells emphasis - If you don't exfoliate before application, it tends to accentuate flaky skin. Make sure to thoroughly remove dead skin cells and apply it in a gradient for a beautiful look! It's especially perfect for summer wear. The photo shows how it looks after wiping once with a wet wipe. Please use this as a reference! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 1, 2020
The application feels nice, and it has a rich, sweet chocolate scent Unfortunately, the tint is a very intense pink and transfers quite heavily - Hwahae UserNormal SkinDec 19, 2019
The color of this is absolutely gorgeous! I highly recommend it for those with fair skin tones! Unfortunately, it tends to rub off a bit when eating, which was disappointing. Also, I noticed it caused some dead skin cells to appear... - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinOct 24, 2019
It's an absolute gem when used together with Coral Lay! The color really brightens up your face. If I had to break it down, I'd say it's about 80% red, 13% orange, and 7% pink. What do you think? The downside is that it transfers quite a bit. It does get a bit better over time, but it still tends to rub off easily. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 17, 2019
I really liked that the color wasn't too intense, but rather a soft red shade. I was worried that since it's matte, it might emphasize dead skin cells, but it actually wasn't too bad and looks quite nice. This is just my personal opinion, but the scent is slightly chocolatey(?), which I didn't particularly enjoy. Also, it tends to transfer quite a bit. It works wonders if you exfoliate your lips before applying! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinOct 6, 2019
First of all, the color is absolutely gorgeous! I actually bought this on a friend's recommendation, and shade #4 immediately caught my eye. Such a beautiful color... The application is pretty decent, and the scent isn't off-putting at all! While it might not be suitable for a full lip look, I highly recommend it to those who love gradient lips! There weren't any major downsides, but if I had to nitpick, I'd say the transfer and longevity could be a bit better. However, considering it's a drugstore tint, it's really an excellent product! I strongly recommend it! I highly recommend this as a daily makeup staple. The color is timeless and beautiful! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJun 23, 2019
I fell in love with this tint as soon as I saw the color swatch at Olive Young and bought it right away! Clio is truly a brand you can trust. Longevity: It was pretty good in my opinion! Whether I applied it lightly for daily wear or more intensely as a statement, I only needed to touch up occasionally when I checked the mirror. Texture: It's absolutely amazing... The smooth application puts matte formulas to shame, and the sweet chocolate scent is a heart-stealer! It's a proper heart attack in the best way. Just dab it on casually and blend with your fingers for a lively look. Color payoff: Since it doesn't stain instantly, you can gently blend it for a subtle, fresh-faced look. The color is genuinely beautiful... I used to think brands like 3CE or BBIA were the masters of lip colors, but no - this brand really knows what they're doing, everyone! Transfer: It doesn't stain instantly with a 'bam!' effect. However, I actually like this aspect because when I've applied it too heavily, I can use the transfer to create a kiss mark on the back of my hand and lighten the color on my lips. Base: As I've mentioned, it takes time to stain, so applying it lightly gives you that youthful, natural, vibrant look perfect for students. You can use it as a sheer base and add another lip color on top for accent, but I mainly use it for gradients! I rarely do full lips. Also, because of the transfer, I sometimes use it as a blush.
