Deep undertone light-skinned beauties, this is a must-buy for you! The color, oh the color! It's absolutely stunning! This lip product works wonders in brightening your complexion.. It's like magic - your face looks so much prettier compared to when you're wearing other lip products. The smudging capability is fantastic! As someone with thinner lips, I love applying it slightly over the lip line.. It smudges so well, allowing you to create the illusion of fuller, plumper lips.. The chocolate scent isn't great.. I prefer lip products that adhere perfectly to the lips, but this one doesn't quite hit the mark. If I were to express the degree of 'floating' feeling on a 100% scale, I'd say this product is about 36%. It's not that it doesn't adhere at all, but it's not particularly impressive either! Despite this, I find myself reaching for it often because the color has become my absolute favorite~ - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinAug 24, 2020
The color payoff is soft and powdery, and the shade matches the photo perfectly It doesn't adhere well to the lips. It's just a mediocre tint that's neither here nor there. The staining effect is minimal, and it feels like it's just sitting on top of the lips, which is why I don't use this product - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 1, 2020
First off, true to Clio's reputation, the color payoff is absolutely fantastic. The velvety texture applies incredibly lightly on the lips! It also stains nicely, so even when the lip color wears off a bit, it still looks great. There wasn't anything particularly disappointing, but since it doesn't completely adhere to the lips, it might be tricky to wear a mask over this lipstick. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMar 27, 2019
Absorbs well. It's called 'Sun Peach', but it's not the typical orange-coral or salmon color you might expect. It's more like 8 parts coral-red, 1 part white undertone, and 1 part orange. I usually like Clio lip products, but honestly, I can't feel much difference from Peripera's Ink Velvet. While it applies much more smoothly, it doesn't adhere well. After a couple of hours, it feels dry, and if I apply lip balm, it seems to come off easily, perhaps due to the balm's oils. When I gently blotted with a tissue, only a pink stain remained. Except for Peripera's superior packaging, it's just another pink stain. I thought I had escaped the pink stain trap when I finished and tossed my old one, but here we go again... sigh. At least Peripera has better staying power, keeping its original color until you eat or drink something, but this one doesn't seem to have even that level of adherence. The color is pretty, but just... ordinary. Nothing special. Why do lip products these days have such strange scents? I wasn't picky about lip scents before, but suddenly there's cocoa, cinnamon... I don't get it. This one has a cocoa scent... or maybe cocoa butter?
