These days, there are many mildly acidic cleansing foams, but interestingly, this one is slightly alkaline. Mildly acidic ones are gentle and good, but personally, I find the slightly alkaline ones to have a more squeaky-clean and refreshing cleansing feel, so I use different ones depending on the situation.
