Compared to slightly acidic cleansers, it removes impurities to some extent while being less irritating than regular alkaline products. It's free from harsh exfoliants like corn starch or scrub particles, preventing excessive skin adhesion. Even with a small amount, it creates rich lather when rubbed between palms multiple times.
Cons1. The scent. As other reviewers mentioned, it has a unique fragrance. To me, it smells slightly off, like something that's gone bad. I even double-checked the manufacturing date because of this. 2. The texture. It's too runny, so you might accidentally squeeze out more than intended. Requires some technique to use. 3. After a month of use, my complexion looks sallow. Maybe it's due to the various green tea ingredients. It seems to cleanse oil too effectively.
TipDespite these drawbacks, I've been using it for a week without any significant skin issues, so I'm continuing to use it. I'll update my review after further use. By the way, here's a tip most people know about using foam cleansers, but for those who don't: Get a 'Pump Foam Maker' from Daiso for about $2. Put your usual amount of cleanser in it, add just a tiny bit of water, and pump about 20 times. You'll get an enormous amount of whipped cream-like foam. Try it, it's great! Update 08/27: After a month of use, I'm still struggling with the smell, but if it's good for my skin, I can manage. However, another issue has arisen. My pores look larger and blackheads more prominent. The product contains various green tea ingredients (green tea water, leaf, seed, and root extracts). Perhaps because of this, it feels like it strips away facial oils too quickly, even with just a couple of swipes. The product description mentions a cooling effect, which might explain the occasional stinging and redness I experience. Its cleansing power is good, maybe too good due to the green tea content. My complexion looks sallow, and my blackheads appear very noticeable. I've decided to discontinue use for now.

I usually get blemishes quickly if there's even a slight incompatibility with my skin, so I was a bit apprehensive before using this cleansing foam. However, perhaps due to its gentle ingredients, I didn't experience any breakouts at all. The scent was also pleasant. I use this foam after my cleansing oil, and it seems to effectively remove basic makeup!
ConsThere's not really anything to complain about. It feels similar to most other decent cleansing foams out there! I think it would be suitable for anyone who doesn't have super sensitive skin!!
TipWhen using a cleansing foam, it's important to work up a good lather for effective cleansing!! Creating a rich foam might not be easy, but massaging it well to produce plenty of bubbles will likely give you a better cleansing experience.

I first discovered the brand Benton through winning an event. I've become very interested in clean beauty lately, and this product uses good ingredients. The packaging is also made of recyclable paper, which gives it an eco-friendly feel - a point I highly praise! Now, let me list the advantages one by one. First, although it's a low pH cleansing foam, its cleansing effectiveness is very good. While it doesn't produce an abundance of foam, the pearlescent formulation feels like it cleanses thoroughly without irritation when massaged onto the skin! And we all know how great green tea is for soothing the skin, right? This product contains famous Boseong green tea extract, making it especially suitable for those with oily skin. As you can see in the photo, while the Make P:rem cleansing foam has a very firm and dense texture, the Benton product is slightly thinner and will slowly drip when you put it on your hand and tilt it. I once used a stiff foam cleanser, and it was inconvenient to squeeze out of the tube. If you prefer a softer formulation, I recommend this one!
ConsThe scent! The container is so green, I was really expecting a fresh green tea fragrance, but it smells like rosemary! I think this will be a matter of personal preference. The musty smell made it a bit difficult to use for a week. Even though I have combination dehydrated skin, I felt severe deep dryness after using this! If I didn't immediately apply skincare, my skin felt tight and stiff. I don't think I could use this in winter, but it seems like it might be good for men who tend to have oilier skin.
TipRather than rubbing it in your hands, using it with a vibrating cleansing device can help you cleanse more thoroughly and effectively!

First off, I was really impressed by the excellent ingredients! The scent reminded me of a natural soap I once used that was made with high-quality ingredients. It's hard to describe the exact fragrance, but it's quite pleasant. The foam lathers up wonderfully, which is perfect for someone like me who loves a good, rich lather. Overall, I really enjoyed using this product!
ConsThere's not really anything I can point out as a downside! However, I can't say there's anything exceptionally outstanding either. As I mentioned above, the good ingredients and the rich lather are the main positives that stand out to me.

This cleanser is fantastic at removing sunscreen completely and efficiently in one go! At first, I was a bit puzzled by the lack of rich lather, but as I massaged it onto my face, it effectively removed all traces of sunscreen. It rinses off easily, leaving me feeling like it's thoroughly cleansed even deep into my pores. As someone with dry skin, I often experience tightness after cleansing, but with Benton, there's no tightness at all - just a lovely moisturized feeling. The subtle green tea fragrance, with a hint of what seems like peppermint, creates a spa-like atmosphere. It's as if I've lit an aromatic candle, which really elevates my mood. I'm extremely satisfied with this product.
ConsThe lack of abundant foam was initially surprising, but I got used to it over time and found it worked well regardless.
TipWhile it doesn't produce a lot of foam, it works best when you apply it like a massage cream, thoroughly working it into your skin for effective cleansing.

The texture is a typical foam cleanser, neither too thick nor too thin. I couldn't detect any fragrance - it seems unscented. No irritation at all! When lathering, it creates a very dense and rich foam that feels incredibly soft on the face. It gave me the sensation of thoroughly cleansing impurities from my pores. After rinsing, my skin felt squeaky clean but not overly dry. Perhaps due to the camellia oil and the summer weather, my face felt so hydrated after cleansing that I didn't need to apply anything else. My mom tried it and loved how non-drying and moisturizing it was, so she's been using it regularly. It's likely great for those with dry skin. I only use it in the mornings, not at night. Since my skin tends to be oilier in summer, I'm currently using a more drying product. I think this will be perfect for the changing seasons or winter. + It helps calm blemishes and doesn't cause dryness. There's a slight emphasis on dead skin cells. There's a faint, somewhat earthy scent - maybe from the green tea? The texture is a bit thin. It lathers extremely well, sometimes getting into my nostrils and causing a tingling sensation. Benton products aren't very accessible, so unless it's a gift, I probably wouldn't have many chances to buy it.
ConsThere aren't really any downsides, but I probably won't use it in summer.
TipBest used when the weather turns chilly and you start to feel that dry skin sensation.
