Among the fragrances I've experienced, this one stands out as truly exceptional. It evokes thoughts of the Mediterranean sea and flowers (though I've never been there). It's neither purely floral nor woody, but rather a brilliantly unique scent. If money were no object, I'd love to have this fragrance wafting through my entire home as a diffuser. The price is the only drawback. However, the scent is so incredibly captivating that it almost justifies the cost, which is why I still recommend it. - rl**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresJan 16, 2025
The scent is absolutely amazing. It's incredibly refreshing. Personally, I think it's a fragrance that pairs perfectly with summer. It has a lovely grassy note that I really enjoy. Unfortunately, the longevity is terrible. That's why I hardly use it... I've never encountered a fragrance with such poor staying power before. - ja*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 5, 2023
The Garden series is so delightful that I carry a refill bottle for a mood-boosting spritz throughout the day! Unfortunately, the fragrance doesn't last long, so I end up using it quickly. I wish it had the staying power of a perfume... - se*********Dry SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresFeb 19, 2023
Surprisingly affordable for Hermès. An excellent choice for a summer fragrance. Not recommended for those who dislike watery or cucumber scents. It's meant to be an orange-water scent, but if you're not careful, it might remind you of air freshener. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 14, 2022
I think the scent is perfect for rainy days. It's really great for a light spritz! It makes summer memories feel refreshingly moist and invigorating. When the perfume is shaken a bit, the top notes of the fragrance become overpowering. It's like two or three times stronger than when the scent is settled. At least that's how it was for my nose. - rl**********Dry SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 30, 2022
It's good... really good... I've tried many famous fragrances like Jo**, Dip**, and others, but their distinctive sharp scents were often too overwhelming for me to reach for them. Hermès fragrances, however, are truly gentle, subtle, and absolutely wonderful. Sur le Nil is like getting lost in a forest on a hot day, then discovering a crystal-clear river flowing abundantly. And imagine dense white flowers blooming along the riverbank! It's that feeling of taking a sip of water to cool off, then sitting down and being intoxicated by the sweet floral scent mixed with the fresh smell of water - such a pleasant sensation. Because the scent is so gentle and subtle, the longevity is terrible. You need to buy the 15ml Nomade version to carry around with you. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 18, 2021
The scent is truly delightful! When first sprayed, you get notes of grapefruit, fresh grass, and a subtle hint of mango. As time passes, the fruity notes fade, leaving behind a lovely herbal aroma. I bought this as a summer fragrance, but it seems perfect for both spring and summer. It's not overly sweet or heavy, which I appreciate. It has a pleasantly refreshing and lively feel. I heard this perfume was inspired by the Nile River, and it really does evoke the sensation of walking along a riverbank! The longevity seems a bit lacking. Perhaps due to its light nature, you need to practically bury your nose in it to detect the scent after a while. The fragrance has a unisex appeal, making it a great option for couples to share. Applying some Vaseline before spraying the perfume seems to improve its staying power. - ha*******Combination SkinRecommendedJun 17, 2021
I've been using this perfume consistently for several years now. Personally, I find it to be a fresh scent that works well in all four seasons, but it feels especially refreshing in summer. It's also great as a gift since the fragrance isn't particularly polarizing - it's quite versatile. While I don't typically layer fragrances, for those who'd like a hint of citrus, I recommend pairing it with Atelier Clémentine California. The lingering scent lasts quite well, but since it's not a heavy perfume, I suggest reapplying with a spritz every 3-4 hours. I used to think the price was a bit steep, but upon closer inspection, I realized it's not actually that high compared to other similar brands. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 4, 2021
This fragrance exudes a natural and fresh scent without an overpowering presence. It's beautifully balanced and seems to capture even the finest details. It's perfect for daily wear, with a subtle diffusion that becomes more appealing the longer you smell it. When sprayed on a rainy day, it creates a moist ambiance that lifts your mood. That's why it's my favorite in the Jardin line! While the bottle is pretty, its transparency makes it vulnerable to UV light, so I keep it in the box. However, since perfumes should be stored in a cool, shaded place anyway, it's not particularly inconvenient. Try wearing it when it rains - it's truly fantastic! And it's absolutely perfect for spring and summer! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 16, 2021
I've been using this for 3 years now because I love fresh citrus scents - it's my absolute favorite perfume! The fragrance seems to fade too quickly. While the lingering scent is subtle, it gives me a headache.
